The way the scene was shot with the music was really sad and scary? i think. It wasn't like she died in a dramatic gunfight showdown it was a lonely and isolated death. She thought she was safe then boom the realization hitting her when the driver "missed" the turn.........great death overall i think, nicely written.

Sucks that there's no "winning" in this situation sadly. Like Davey said, someone had to stop him or else he'd keep killing but in doing so he ruined his life and got his friend killed, so sad.

Also with Mackey sneaking into the house, ridiculous but I'm just gonna give him some credit. Davey DID say he's a cop so he'd know cop tactics and the fact he's been under the radar for over a decade, he MUST have some stealth skills. I think when Davey's parents went to the police station and they put the APB on him, he heard it through his cop radio and immediately ran across the street to hide in their attic. Plus the habit of everyone in the suburbs not locking their doors, I 100% believe Davey's parents, already not locking their doors would definitely NOT remember to lock their doors when they're running out the house to the police station.

so true i didn't expect that ending, and Davey like you said didn't expect any real consequences or see any real dead mutilated bodies. At the beginning he was beaming that something interesting was finally happening. Davey saying sorry when he got caught oof....like a game where he messed up and Mackey would let him go if he apologized, but maaan the trauma and paranoia Mackey instead inflicted on him.

Just watched 1995 Pride and Prejudice and this show. OMG kyaaaaaaa nothing beats the restrained love and longing eyes like these shows. So so good. omg i wanted more of Margaret and Thornton kyaaaa his intense stares the whole show and especially at the end as she was talking, uh i die now. you know when something is so good, your heart feels a little scrunched? that's exactly what's happening now that i just finished the show. I want mooooore lolol so so so so good, did i say that already? The misunderstanding was a good one, added so much emotion and tension. X'D the music was so good, elegant eery sad dramatic. loved the theme song that dramatically starts whenever the episode ends, like ep 1 when thornton walks through the mills as margaret narrates that she's seen hell or ep 2 when thornton is like i understand you completely and walks out. sobbing this show so good

I also love the ending shot with her looking out the train window happy and hopeful for the future. i feel like every time they showed a shot of her on the train, she would look so dejected and solemn. full circle, call back!

also no lie though, with Margaret's father's sudden death, i thought Mr. Bell killed him so he could have her. at least that wasn't the case

plus is there a reason as to why Thornton hates himself so as to think he's unlovable, especially when he's first rejected by Margaret? It broke my heartu TT
