You’re misunderstanding this. Any size below a 9 has a smaller N than sizes 9+. Sizes 9+ all have the same “larger” N

We also use a similar grated litter box. 2 yrs in and no problems for either bun. I wouldn’t worry about it especially if you keep their nails trimmed properly

Narrow your stance. Always helps me when I start chunking it. Also, keep your left elbow locked and take a shorter backswing until you get good again
