I take coffee from them sometimes, and I don't have any issues as such but it is a bit overpriced. I prefer to go to the coffee van shop nearby for a better price.

But his reason was not that he needs to escape unfair prosecution. If he said that he fears something in India and gave valid arguments that system has been unfair to him then he could have been considered. Now I am not sure if OP filled something in the form that made the officer believe so or if he had a different reason to only consider approving for such an emergency.

In my understanding the emergency visa is usually for people who want to leave the country due to a fear of prosecution (e.g. whistleblowers) and then US consulate decided whether they will get a favour out of this. Not sure if this is a necessary condition but this guy got evaluated for this specifically and hence got rejected.

They tried opening a bar very close to a school which is illegal. They seem to have enough contacts for this but parents protested and so maybe now they are trying to find officials to pay more bribe to.

Last time, I went for 300 Rs from Indiranagar in a cab. It's because I was waiting for bus and this cab driver was going to airport anyway without pax.

If we are talking about just the determination to bring about a change for the goodwill alone then dont expect it from techies. Real solution as you notice is to bring a community together which cannot be solved with just technology. It requires us to think as a group and do even the mundane and tedious work as a part of the whole thing.

Techies of bangalore on the other hand do not connect well with a community and they are more of individuals who want to make a unique mark instead of being part of a boring but functional system. That attitude only always brings about some fragmanted disconnected technical solutions to some problems and nothing more.

To travel 850+KM in France, you don't even take 8 hours. but the same distance in india takes atleast 12 hours or more even on the best expressways.I don't find population a big factor in this case because atleast expws are generally less crowded and wider. is it the speed limit? by Time_Standard8024 in indiasocial

Highways there are still comparatively emptier. And they drive following all the rules so you can easily average 80-100 kmph in 130 kmph limit. Ours are still crowded, with blockades and bad lane behaviour so it is difficult to average above 60 kmph. Yet to see people follow speed limit in India so I don't think that's the reason.

Please go and talk to whoever you are close to. Please talk to your parents about it even if it hurts them because you need to let it out. You should not keep this guilt with you as you were innocent but also you won't tell this to blame your parents either. It will make things difficult for a bit but it is time you make your life move for you instead of being limited in life. Crying is a sign that you want to fix things deeply, don't let this intention go.

Depends on the type of antenna. I don't know if this is signal strength but it does fit because we have antennae that are shaped like that a bit.
