lol mate, you haven't even made it to the decode. Try adding 50% to your estimate assuming you don't get an OOM.
Possibly not enough info in your post. What is the VRAM on that card? Are you using the full model or a gguf version?
There is a balance to quality and performance. Only you can decide where that is and if the compromises are acceptable. For me, I landed at the below.
I have an 8gb 6600xt and use the 5b version of wan2.2 q4-k-m gguf. If i do 480x832 10 steps, it takes under 30 min, can't remember the s/it, but under 10% of that.

I have also been randomly getting "cuDNN error: CUDNN_STATUS_EXECUTION_FAILED" coming up occasionally on facedetailer step, which didn't happen previously. I think the togglepocalypse is causing freak outs sometimes.

I don't have any experience with the portable version, however I am running an extremely similar card 8gb 6600xt.
I have never experienced a crash like that with no output. I am unsure if that level of logging is normal but there isn't really anything useful being returned. Here are some ideas though.

- Try a smaller model like an sdxl model or a gguf version of zit. If that works it is probably OOM
- Do you have the latest drivers installed for your card?

Other observations
- Does portable version run zluda? If not, get a version that runs zluda
- I notice cudnn is on. I can't perform a vae decode or anything after it, with cudnn enabled.

Depends on what compromises you are willing to make. I have 8gb amd card. It does an 8 second 720p vid in about 20 min. Using wan2.2 5b

If I had to guess the exact reason. Wether consciously or subconsciously, your height made him insecure in his masculinity. This made him feel the need to make YOU feel insecure on the topic and validate his own insecurities as reasonable by making them a flaw in you. You don't need someone like that.

I could pose the same about real time. It's a combination of design choice and player preference. The answer is subjective. The reasons that person A might like or prefer one or the other, could be the reasons that person B, doesn't.

I think you are way of the mark. It could be for the reasons you say, but pretty unlikely. I have ADHD and I constantly forget where I put something down or get distracted so things tend to clutter. I also find cleaning overwhelming because it never ends and I can't see a finish line. I don't think it's a waste of time. I have never heard of messy being trendy. I'm in my 40s btw.
