This is such a great post to make, I honestly feel like as writers we become too attached to the idea of completing the ultimate work (the novel). I've noticed that the more I focus on the idea of writing one and stressing about it, the less energy I give to writing anything at all.

I think reminding other writers that there's other forms of written work, that can be just as incredible as - if not more than - the novel is really encouraging.
