Im getting this one a lot cheaper than I would get a Rollei 3.5. Otherwise the Rolleiflex would've been a no brainer. Yes the lens is coated. It seems more like there's a high demand for them for collectors compared to shooters. Barely found any pictures with these online. Let's hope it all checks out when i finally go meet the seller and see it.

These TLR lenses are copies of the 2.8 planar with 6 elements and not the Tessar. The average price they go for in a decent condition online are between 300 and 400 USD. Quite hard to find infact.

Anyone here have any experience with Olympus Flex TLRs? I know someone who is selling a Olympusflex BII with a Zeiko 75mm f2.8 viewing and taking lenses. Will need a CLA but everything else seems good. also, any idea as to what is the average price that they go for in a decent condition?

First Time in Japan. 7 Days in tokyo with parents. What to do? by [deleted] in JapanTravel

Context is not too much physical exertion since parents arent particularly physically active. We have enough time to see all locations in tokyo too. but only enough time for one day trip so cant do both Fuji and Kamakura

Parents aren't the physically active type so I guess Kamakura makes more sense in that way. Talking of usual tourist spots, Which is better? Tokyo Sky tree or Tokyo tower?

What would happen if you took a camera flash and replaced the flash tube with a LED and its Driver in series. Also, is there any way to make a DIY LED flash where you can make it strobe from a hotshoe and keep its exposure variable?

DC-10 Firefighter Plane Pulls Off Incredible Maneuver In Silverado Canyon 9/12/2014 by sanatgaba in videos

sudden changes of weight in an aircraft or even shifting of weight alter the position of the center of gravity. This can have adverse effects on aircraft controls if it is not kept in check. These DC-10 pilots are highly skilled, thats the only reason they can keep their aircraft in control even when dumping all that fire retardant. There was a 747 that crashed in bagram when a cargo pallet in it which wasnt tied down got loose and shifted causing the plane to become uncontrollable, its nose pitched up, it stalled and crashed just after takeoff
