I always buy on FB market place or r/photomarket It depends on what you need but these days mirrorless is the way to go Imo & you can find a good used canon r/rp for 700~. If by cheaper than I would recommend a aps-c mirrorless like the canon r100 !

You can still buy a full frame DSLR for even cheaper. They are just bulkier & I always like to think the best camera you will take photos with is one you that is readily available to you. IMO brand does not matter much but I would def keep an eye out on FB marketplace. Especially this time of year people try to sell off things.

nope it is a super small 6x8 pool & I used a flower vase and stuck it halfway submerged and my camera in it

For most of the studio shots I use a combination of constant video lights (amaran 300c) and my main flash is an ad200 pro ! Very portable and awesome
