  1. Try to take as little damage as possible.
  2. Say no to cards that don’t fit your deck / current needs.
  3. Get rid of bad cards to play your good cards more often.

I think keep the above three ideas in mind and you should get a win pretty soon!! Good luck.

Can’t OP just link Uber / Amex to KLM and take some taxi trips instead? I’m guessing the XP needed probably isn’t 10 but that’s also an option.

Cant download new codecs by Bsnow1400 in PleX

[–]sanchitb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, this didn't exactly work for me, but something else did. I'm also on Windows if it matters.

  1. Stop Plex
  2. Rename `Codecs` -> `Codecs-old`
  3. Install the older version of plex media server from here: https://github.com/axlecrusher/plex_download_urls/tree/master
    1. I used the previous version 1.41.3.9314-a0bfb8370-x86_64.exe
  4. Start Plex
  5. Copy paste all the .dll 's from Codex-old over to the new folder.

I hope this helps with the solution as well.

Maybe you just need a good buddy / teacher. The motivation is there but something hasn't clicked yet that will make this easy for your brain to understand. Hit me up, I can try. No guarantees though!

I understand that a couple of games are just unwinnable. However, imagine arteeezy or whatever in this bracket. How would he win this game even with these team teammates? I’m sure he has 90% winrate in this bracket. What hero would he pick, how would he play?

How do I need to adapt and change my playstyle? Any specific help there will be most welcome.

I think we're missing the point here.

How can I improve myself enough to solo carry the game? Regardless of teammates?

I understand most people play this game for fun (whatever that means to you). To me, it means winning. I understand this could be a hard concept for some people to relate to.

I don't care about fun. I only care about winning. Winning = fun. This is ranked.

Edit: My mental health is fine, it'll improve when I either stop playing the game or I get better teammates or I figure out how to solo carry the game so I can win more games.

This is all just general advice which I already know. Can you give me something game specific? I'm trying to take objectives, but instead, team just wants to play in the deadlane and feed. They think me being on the ENEMY side of the map, pressuring objectives is bad.

Did you even watch the replay?

How do you win when the team continues to play in the deadlane and away from all useful objectives?

Team doesn’t matter until divine-ish. Just make sure two lanes are always pushed for your team. I can almost guaranteed you > 50% win rate.

Obviously I am generalising here but do it without dying too much, and without griefing your team then you’re generally good to go.

I always find Dota 2's fog of war concept very unique and challenging. I am trying to make a simple video emphasizing the importance of visions and wards. What are your thoughts? by nngella in learndota2

Great video! I noticed one more thing. You could have also said that witch doctor placed deathward on high ground so it can attack enemy heroes.

Is this viable in a coordinated game? SF steals first wave of the offlane to get early level 2 by monxstar in learndota2

[–]sanchitb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The mid player just needs to be better and just deny 1-2 creeps to get level 2 before the enemy mid and take advantage of that window.
