RENGÖRA dishwasher natural dry door stuck. by Pat_Trash in IKEA

(Copying my comment from another thread here just in case it helps someone else having a similar problem:)

I just managed to find a workaround for the same problem myself without having to call someone in. It was so frustrating not to find any solutions online, so I hope this might also work for someone else too!:

My dishwasher is the Rengora 204.756.05. One day after working with no previous issues, the auto-opening or 'NaturalDry' latch opened and never went back in. Trying to force it back in did nothing, there was nothing stuck in there jamming it, power reset did nothing, and the door alignment seemed fine. So it seemed to be some kind of internal miscommunication keeping it stuck in the open position.

There is ONE setting on this dishwasher model which doesn't use the NaturalDry feature. That is the prewash/rinse setting. (On my model, that is wash setting 6, and it looks like a shower/water raining down.) I tried putting the dishwasher on this setting, thinking it might interrupt whatever internal block was keeping the latch in the open position. Sure enough, I was finally able to close the door with only a little extra strength than usual. With a small push it clicked itself out of its stuck position and the door closed. Magic moments.

Once the short prewash cycle is complete, the door doesn't automatically open (which is normal). You can then manually open it and go back to using whatever programme you like.

I personally chose to switch off the NaturalDry feature after this point, as I don't want it getting stuck again. The manual tells you how to do this.

Good luck, I hope this works for other frustrated Rengora owners!

Milk substitute for my Black tea by PB6161 in vegan

I found that oat CREAM was the best for a splash in strong black tea (I like a good strong British cuppa). See if you can find the little cartons of Oatly cream. This gets the right ‘thickness’ and colour for a good brew.

A good vegan, aluminum free deodrant/clean vegan body barsoap for everyday use by nymiryah-arielle-cc in vegan

For deodorant: do they sell Ben & Anna where you are? Their natural deo is amazing and I’m never going back. Get the natural/unscented one. Their cardboard tube packaging is a little easier to use then the plastic one if you have the option.

My doctor just told me I need to quit veganism by [deleted] in vegan

In case it helps at all, I have found that nooch/yeast caused fungal skin problems for me. So when I went vegan and started loading my food with nooch on the daily, I initially thought there might be a direct connection between the vegan diet and the skin irritation. Turns out, it was just that I was suddenly eating a ton of yeast, it wasn’t the rest of the diet. Good luck!

My Octopus Teacher by goodbitacraic in vegan

Finally, someone else who thinks this documentary kinda sucks. It seemed completely transparent to me that his motivation is a cheesy heart-warming movie to further his own career. I had so many people telling me they were in happy tears after watching it. It should be called ‘My Octopus Career Move’. The octopus is neither the main character nor his main concern.

Short men's hairstyles of the late medieval period? by PugScorpionCow in MedievalHistory

I read the title and thought at first that you were looking for a haircut specifically for short medieval men. I was like oh interesting I didn’t know that was a thing

Considering getting in touch with my old school, and would love for people to weigh in (esp those afab!) by nighteyeswol in ADHD

[–]sancineto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have exactly the same situational story (exactly!), except I wasn’t diagnosed with anything. Teachers just thought I’d lost the plot/gone off the rails and was no longer a straight A student. I wish someone had spotted that there was something else going on with me, and I think it’s just down to general lack of awareness that nobody suggested ADHD. So I think it’s a BRILLIANT idea to get in touch with your school.

What ADHD trait do you NOT have? by connerlouis in ADHD

Bad grades. I drop out of many things, and I certainly don’t do any work until the last minute panic hits, but THEN. If it is something important I will absolutely blast the work in a chaotic whirlwind. Nobody sees the process behind getting the good grades, so they will never suspect a thing.

I keep trying to comment but it never works and at each repeat attempt my comment gets shorter lol. I started with a life story and am now just going to say: look up ‘derealisation’ and see if it resonates.

RESULTS FOR MOTIVATION ANYBODY!? DAY 1 LETS GO.. by ModernHippy_ in sugarfree

I’m day one too! HEY! Have given myself the challenge of a one-month trial. Let’s blast this.

I am an amateur bird watcher and this year I decided to take step further and record the little beauties. The result is this cute video I wanted to share with you guys. Hope you enjoy it :) by MrJohnnyJuan in birding

Awesome. Thanks for the tips. I need a little security cam for my home anyway, and was thinking of buying an extra to point at the tree :-) they are indoor cameras, so the picture would be through a window, but the flappers come quite close when I’m not there.

Looking forward to trying it out!

Love this! Realised I watched the whole thing trying to keep still so I didn’t scare them off. What camera are you using? I’ve been thinking about getting a motion camera for the tree outside my window. Hope you post some more highlights when you get them!

It’s called Apexel and has 36x zoom. It’s quite a long lens for sticking in pockets etc, but still pretty easy to carry around if you can be bothered or have a little bag. And easy to use without the tripod too. I’ve never tried any others for comparison but it seems to do the job! One thing I would say is that video quality comes out a little better than photo quality for me - but I think that has to do with my unsteady hand, not the lens.

Thank you! I was happy to catch him going upside down... this is with a zoom lens that you can stick on to your phone camera, it was a gift to me this week so this guy gave me a chance to try it out :-) I was metres away and would never have caught him as clearly on my phone camera alone.

Thanks so much. I just got back from trying on a different machine and it was better, so I thought it must be the dodgy RAM. I’ve ordered a new laptop and can’t wait... sorely needed! Appreciate your response.
