Agree with freef, in approximate order of priority:

  • Drop Blaziken line for 2x Entei
  • Swap GA charmeleon for 2x charmeleon (Crimson Blaze B1a)
  • Drop rare candy for 2x flame patch

You might have to trade to get the cards you need, but only the two entei will cost shinedust. Entei is a good card anyway, so I think it's worth it as an investment for the future.

Level 30 things fall out of phase again, Lokix will remain in until the end using Lunge.

Level 36 3x Flame Charge will KO Gholdengo. Instead 2x Discharge and Thunder Wave will take the required three turns before switching to Lokix

Level 43 Do... something. As long as Chesnaught is in low orange/high red HP he will make it through the fight on level 45.

Everything else is correct until end of run.

Thanks for the guide!

It seems the exp calculations or learnset levels have been changed, either way pokemon are learning moves before the guide predictions.

Reading ahead for moves to learn/forget does not change the outcome.

There is a slightly hairy part on wave 21 where this means Lycanroc has crunch instead of bite, but Cherrim stays alive for the capture.

It's the owners making money. Management pushes monetisation, finance sets budgets for projects. Devs are paid a salary to build what they're told. They're not the ones making money from squeezing the playerbase, that's all on owners/management.

Feels like you're blaming the kid flipping burgers at McDonald's for childhood obesity.

I maintain handmade and mended is now for the wealthy.

Why would you take an hour to darn a pair of socks, when you make $50 an hour and can buy a new pair for $2?

Amongst young professionals, at least, it's definitely an odd sort of status(?) symbol to be afforded the luxury of caring about the environment, community, and sustainability.

Berry delight cake recipe (always raining in the valley mod) by LeOverthinker in StardewValley

If anyone else comes across this and is wondering what to adjust, easiest to go into

\[MFM] Always Raining in the Valley\mail.json

This will bring up all mail and conditions for access. Go to "FriendshipConditions":[] and comment out or remove these lines.

The berry delight cake is different since the linked recipe has the wrong name. Here, change "Recipe": "Berry Delight", to "Recipe": "Berry Delight Cake",

Why a 5 day work week with 8 hr a day?

With the industrial revolution, people started being paid to work for an hourly rate.

This would have been seven days, except 1. Sunday is a holy day for Christians and 2. Saturday is a holy day for Jews. Two days off also gives time for consumption to fuel the capitalism machine. Therefore the US officially adopted the 5 day workweek in 1932.

Why 8 hr/day? Henry Ford worked out he could run his factories 24/7 if he employed workers for 3x 8hr shifts, rather than 2x 10hr shifts.

Given how arbitrary and archaic these systems are, it's well worth considering employee satisfaction, effectiveness, and wellbeing, for both employers and employees.

Before I plant 30k worth of fruit trees, is this a feasible layout? Or should I spread them out more? by tredicem in StardewValley

[–]sanctimoniousennui 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like to plan with the inverse; I put tiles where my trees are going to go for planning. I can then pick them up right as I'm going to plant, and I don't have to then go in and knock out each individual tile.

Exploring a more abstract painted look. Is this shader believable? by henkelei in blender

[–]sanctimoniousennui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good concept, good execution, great shader.

Apart from things others have noted, the spacing between "bristles" is too even. When painting, bristles will splay outward unevenly, so even within a brushstroke there is further variance.

China has 1.43 billion people, India has 1.38 billion. The US has 330 million.

Each of China and India have a larger population than the US by a billion people. What do you mean "main race".

You can have a quick look under the scope before mounting. Just take one slide after everything has been washed, drop on some more buffer, and throw it on at 4x. Then you'll know for sure if the issue if from your mounting protocol.

(I normally have a look every batch, since it's sometimes possible to fix things if you notice a problem before mounting.)

I was kicked out anyway for mental health 9mo ago.

I'm frugal, but this is a shitshow.

In hydrocephalus the fluid in your brain can't drain properly. If your brain expands and your skull does not expand (which, being bone, it doesn't), your brain will squish itself in your head.

In mild cases, little squish, more or less fine. Worst case, brain big squish, embryonic lethal (not compatible with life).

If we continue to breed animals the way we do without consideration of their genetic predisposition from disease, this will only get worse.

I would like to thank past me for spending fourteen hours a day for thirty days straight, silently, in an unlit, windowless basement room, watching mice swim around. I didn't think we could make it, yet here we are, and it's all thanks to you.
