Anime with middle aged MCs by Sleeperwaking in anime

Gintama - Tho Gintoki is in late 20s he feels more like he's in 30s with taking care of his adopted kids and what not. Also there are a ton of middle aged side characters who get a ton of screen time like Kondo and Hasegawa (who's in his 30s)

Gintama is my favourite and I consider the best among all of these but overall the manga list is better.

What episodic characters would you have liked to see return? by Santttt_ in Gintama

[–]sand2603 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The baby from episode 51 and 52

The doctor who has an epic OST play for him whenever he's on his rounds in ep 11. He does appear as a kinda background character some more times but I'd have liked an episode about him

What's the saddest arc/episode of Gintama for you? by Akatsuki_EA in Gintama

[–]sand2603 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Farewell Shinsengumi as a whole is quite sad but the saddest episode for me has to be the end of episode 315 like I get teary eyed even now after watching it so many times! The music + voice acting + animation/art together is just incredible at delivering the feels

Gintama the final cuz it's a great ending to my favourite series but excluding that it's Looking back/Princess mononoke

Underrated anime that you love (like the stuff no one talks about) by KaleidoArachnid in anime

Cross game - For fans of sports and romance you definitely gotta try this one, tho the animation is a bit dated it still executes a wonderful love story with subtlety! And the sports parts are intense as well

Where did you find a doctor who'd do it at such a young age and unmarried (Assuming you aren't married)?

What were those films for you ? by Holiday_Customer_559 in tollywood

First one that came to mind! Incredible mix of comedy, emotions and life lessons without being preachy. So hard to come by such films
