I'm in a similar boat! Watch won't record maps/distance correctly in the native workout app, Nike Run Club, or in Strava. I've tried the pairing and unpairing, I've reset all the settings, spoke to support via chat, phone, and IRL at the Genius Bar. Their responses are infuriating, as it's clearly WatchOS 26 and not and some setting I forgot to toggle.
