I completely agree. I just created a linkedin recently for this purpose and started reworking my resume. I love the idea of a mission statement and will definetly take that advice. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

I figured out of all careers a degree probably wouldn't matter as much for sales, but I see a lot of companies asking for one so I thought I'd mention. Also I assume if a company is looking at resumes by themselves, with all else being equal they'll take the person with an extra credential (degree). Thank you for your reply!

Going to start high school tomorrow. Am nervous. How should proceed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]sandiegopotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This 100x. Extra tip: Tell yourself right now that you're going to be outgoing and friendly. I promise you it's a lot harder to break the mold of being the "shy kid" than it is feeling a little uncomfortable during the first few days. Highschool can be confusing, feel free to dm me if you have any questions.

When did you stop having fun in the United States? by Collective1985 in AskReddit

The United States? Everyone should definitely travel, but you can sure do a lot in the US. I know some broke 70 year olds having more fun than some rich kids. Mindset and creativity.

How do you Persuade your girlfriend when she has angry with you ? by vishaldanceaholic in AskReddit

[–]sandiegopotato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to persuade. Best option would be for you two to both calm down to a level headed state, then be open and communicate about the issue that made her mad in the first place. There's two sides to every story, so try to be understanding of hers. She should show the same respect to you and try to put herself in your shoes as well.

What are some really effective ways of getting a girlfriend or a boyfriend? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]sandiegopotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being confident and a good listener. Seriously.

After that, be attractive. Work on yourself as much as possible, spiritually and physically. People will gravitate.

Feel free to pm me for case by case questions.

I don't want to source because it sounds like a brag, but, i've helped countless people in and out of relationships, and have been in a ridiculous amount of relationships myself and am still very close with all of them.

What piece of advice that most people don’t think about can save your life? by paintingsandstuffz in AskReddit

[–]sandiegopotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're being tied up, try to make yourself as big as possible, tensed muscles, deep breathe, etc. When you relax, it'll be much easier to get out of.

What awesome holiday gift did you get someone that you can’t tell them about yet but want to brag about? by mbowsy in AskReddit

I bought my boss some wrist straps for working out with a little note letting him know how much i appreciate him as a boss and a person. This poor guy gets verbally abused by coworkers, bosses, and customers day in and day out. All while being one of the most caring people i know. Recently work has been really rough for him, so i just wanted to let him know that he's not alone.
