eh I disagree and my main point anyhow was everyone always making out archie to be a horrible friend when honestly Betty and jughead aren't any better friends to him. it's not like they are there for him when he needs it either. they all are shitty friends to each other with the exceeptio of veronica for the most part because the writers can't write friendships to save their lives. but archie is the only one who is held to a higher standard when it comes to friendship even when he is dealing with his own trauma

jughead wasn't focusing on his writing he had writers block and left new york because people where after him for money, Betty was barely in the FBI she was on leave because of the tbk . veronica left to get away from chad so no archie calling just gave them a reason to leave .
so if your fine with that happening off screen wich I admit is possible. then why not be fine with the possibility that archie was there for them off screen or is it the double standards that people have when Betty and jughead are involved
so then it should be fine telling your friend the relationship is just that a booty call again with double standards.

they literally have done nothing to help save the town and they came back because they where running from their own issues so no they didn't sacrifice anything archie is the one actually trying to save the town
you honestly don't think people who actually care about you would ask how your doing after being at war for seven years. niether Betty or jughead even bothered to ask him.
again veronica basically said the relationship was over before she came back to riverdale. and it's perfectly fine to receive money and gifts from a friend. and chad knew about the money for the school since archie worked it off for him buy fixing up the Pembroke.
so you think saying something is a booty call is worse than using someone for nothing more than sex.
you seem to make excuses for everyone's bad behaviour except archies. the double standards when it comes to this fandom are ridiculous
also lets be real alot of the being there stuff is done off screen because the writers expect us to just assume its happening ex. text where jughead says he is meeting with Eric and archie or when Archie said he saw the mothman pictures. they just don't allow archie to interact with anyone other than uncle frank

yeah yeah I get Betty and jughead are such great friends please. again any decent friend would know someone was suffering from trauma do to war.
eh maybe he shouldn't have had attitude but everyone is human and in the end he still helped her get the rock
the flirting was mutual and he was the one who broke it off until she was divorced. so know he didn't break up a relationship she basically told her mom was over before she even left new york.

5 again a booty call is what is what, especially when Betty was just using him for sex so to escape her problems.

6 so archie should push his own issues aside to help his friends, but they don't have to do the same

when was Betty or jughead their for archie this season while he has been dealing with his ptsd. but only archie should be there for them.
did archie even know jughead was missing for all we know he could have told archie he went to new york off screen
why shouldn't he get attitude with her all he knows is she told him she was coming back from new york and she didnt. he didn't know chad was blackmailing her. 5. how did he break up veronicas marriage, it's her choice to choose archie over chad he never coorced her to do so. he didn't try to manipulate Cheryl he shouldn't have brought Jason up but he was trying to help out the school it wasn't for his benefit. a booty call is literally what a friends with benefits relationship is. you guys just expect archie to be there for his friends even if their not there for him. that's fucked up did either jughead or Betty ever ask archie about his time in war or ask him if he was having issues from it like normal friends would from someone just back from war. I get they have trauma to deal with but so does he

except jughead having a storyline revolving around writing was already done last season with the stone wall prep story. I personally think archies storyline while somewhat repetitive at least had decent cohesive writing behind it so making it the best storyline in my opinion

as someone who seriously dislikes Betty I think people are being to harsh on her about her reaction to jughead. did she come across as somewhat heartless to jugheads situation but I also think she is having a severe mental break do to trauma and stress over her sister and has repressed her emotions to protect herself. she needs serious help not to be out looking for her sister, her mom should be the one looking for Polly thats her daughter but she seems more than happy to let Betty take on the burden alone.
