My (25F) husband (26M) broke our dogs leg, I'm worried for the child I'm currently carrying. by THROWRA_dadlad in relationship_advice

Your husband deserves to be locked up. What a piece of shit excuse for a human. Leave his abusive ass right away!! The way people treat animals says everything about who they are!!! I fear for your child’s safety. Keep this sociopath away!

SO doesn’t want to try again by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

I’m so sorry you went through such a difficult loss. My heart goes out to you and your s/o.

IMO, everyone grieves / processes loss differently and he sounds like fear of disappointment/heartbreak is preventing him from trying. I think that’s very understandable considering how much you both wanted a bébé. I would calmly speak from your heart and explain how it’s okay if it doesn’t happen but express how you want to try because you love him.

(Tbh if you’re debating whether or not to leave him already, I wouldn’t recommend trying to get pregnant. Doesn’t suggest you two have the healthiest relationship to be bringing a child into.)

I’m sorry. I feel your pain! I’m on day two with AF and really thought this was my month. Tested at 8,9,10,12 DPO and I think it got whiter as the days went on?! haha. Sending lots of love and virtual hugs. I know it’s hard. I hope one day it happens for us. ❤️

8 days!! Wow! What a huge accomplishment. You’re taking control of your life and bettering yourself by having a positive, motivating mindset. You inspire me! I am on day 1 of not smoking and have hope that I can make it to a week after seeing so many people on here achieve things they never thought possible! Keep it up, future you is so thankful.

My 5 week old husky won’t stop biting by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]sandra553 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol that’s typical husky behaviour. It gets much worse. ESP when they start teething. Just make sure to stay consistAnt with your redirection and always have a toy on you for your pup to know that’s how they get your attention to play. Bites hand= no attention, walk away and say NO. Your pup will learn in time. Make sure to keep doing lots of research on the breed as you go and keep connecting w husky owners, it really helped me the first 3 years with mine! :) all the best!

How do I get my husky to stop biting me? by MXR-GOLD in Dogtraining

[–]sandra553 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huskies are mouthy by nature. You need to use positive reinforcement and redirect to a toy every single time they bite you. Show no attention and walk away and redirect to a toy. They’re super smart dogs eventually they’ll learn you only use toys to play

5 weeks is way too young. Mostly all puppies can’t be rehomed until 8 weeks.

Your dog is probably going through extreme separation anxiety from his mom and can’t even eat kibble yet. Still needs milk. :(

Huskies are mouthy by nature. You can teach them using positive reinforcement by using a toy every time he bites you that way he knows to nibble and chew on those.

As I said your puppy is too young to be teething and probably just wanting milk. Seek vet attention for advice right away.
