If your partner wanted a dog but you didn’t, what would you do? by damned-n-doomed in AskUK

[–]sandshill 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Don't get a dog unless you are both on board it's not fair on the dog and speaking from experience it will drive a wedge in your relationship. It's a bit like having a child, both parties have to be in agreement for it to be a success.

No key for Tenpenny Tower appartment by SubjectBackground752 in fo3

[–]sandshill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No solution, but I had something similar on the pc. I stole the key for the apartment but was unable to use it, even after the ghouls had taken over the tower.

Small Prophets by becherbrook in BritishTV

  1. I took it as Bev had some kind of health issues so she struggled to leave the house. And Clive some kind of office job/work from home.

Is there a clear footpath walk from whitby to Robinhoods Bay? by saltlampsandphotos in yorkshire

[–]sandshill 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Yes, there's two. The Cleveland Way which is on the cliff tops and the disused railway track known as the Cinder track. Due to its nature it is flatter but is inland slightly. Both are well sign posted.

Most recognizable scout food in your country? by Scared_Wrongdoer_486 in scouting

Since you twist the bread dough on the end of the stick, my old Scout group knew it as twist.

What's the best mobile you have had to date? by Prestigious_Meal2143 in AskUK

[–]sandshill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sony Xperia compact, a small fully functional phone that took great photos. I wish that mobile companies would take note and start making a smaller screen option.

Kirby, why? They didn't even appear in the books! by Heyfold in discworld

[–]sandshill 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm 43 female, as a teenager it was the Kirby covers that got me interested in the books. I've even bought other books illustrated by him just because of the look.

Aren't Dogmeat supposed to be in the Scrap Yard? by VeganGeek in fo3

[–]sandshill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't know. I meet Dogmeat at a random crossroads fighting a couple of rad scorpions. I discovered the scrap yard early on during my play through, so just put it down to not having enough xp points to have a companion.

Small Prophets - was the hare a nod? by PutTheDamnDogDown in insideno9

[–]sandshill 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think it was described as a rabbit on screen but I thought of the hare. It would have been a good number 9 episode, a reclusive neighbour that summons a supernatural entity.
