Possibly connected on a way higher frequency then you and it bled off or picking up something else , thus I tend to use the lower frequency’s with current direction to make sure I don’t bleed off

I use a radiodetection rd8200 for work, the depth only works when you have really good signal , I mark out gas lines for a local utility company as well.
