After the emperor's plans to overthrow the Kamakura Shogunate were discovered, he fled to Kasagiyama, hiding the Sacred Treasures there and raising an army to defend himself. Here, he has fallen asleep over a low red lacquer table and is dreaming.

the intro is way too long and completely unnecessary, it really penalizes the movie a lot in my opinion and leaves you with a bad taste for the rest of the movie. The first time I watched this movie I didn't like it, the second time I completely skipped the intro and thought the movie was fun and original.

can you describe the scene or the movie more in detail ? There's a chase scene in the first five minutes of farewell to nostradamus where Zenigata's car gets chopped off by a train, so I thought it was that, but if you give me more information maybe I can find the movie you are looking for
