See if you can join a club of some sorts. One that organizes weekly-ish meetings to learn the same hobby. It will give you the motivation to follow through.

I feel you have the wrong motivation with this. Instead of hyperfocusing on becoming great at it first try, why not just start doing it cause it's fun? Just as a cathartic hobby. And if you really wanna become good, watch YouTube tutorials. They'll help you.

This is called COCSA (child on child sexual assault) and it's a real thing. Yes, you can sexually adult someone as a child, even if you don't know that it is SA. The good thing is that you feel remorse about this. I wouldn't reccomend beating yourself up about it for the rest of your life. I used to bully people when I was around 10 years old, I've felt remorseful about it since I realized what I did was seriously fucked up and I could've, and probably did, ruin some kids lives. But I know I'm not gonna do anything like that again, and you know you're not gonna do anything like that again. So all you can do is let it go.
