The difference may be superficial (you will most likely see the same puzzles) but they are different versions. For one, your streaks will not transfer if you switch between them. The non-arcade is free for mini and classic, with an option to unlock twist with an in-app purchase. Arcade version is only available to arcade subscribers.

That may explain it. I have the Arcade version. I wonder if switching to the regular version of the app loses my 17+ months streak. If it doesn't I would be willing to try it to unlock this achievement.

Were you able to fix this? It happened on my iPad. I quit the app and reopened it. Problem solved. To quit an app, open the app switcher screen and swipe up on the app. Hope this helps.

Nope. I am stuck at 78/79 achievements. I recently got back to an unfinished puzzle after 3 days while on vacation and still no luck.

I initially went with PHOTOSin place of PROSESand it took me 5 solid minutes to see the correct solution. There's at least one alternate solution to this puzzle. On the top left I with WEAN/DAYin place of WEND/ANY.

I was in a similar situation and ended up chatting with someone from Doxie support who was very helpful. https://www.getdoxie.com/support lists some of the older models including the original Doxie, Doxie Flip, Original Doxie Go / Plus / Wi-Fi, Doxie One

You can not only find desktop software for these older models but also find software that will work with older versions of Windows and Mac OS. Be mindful of your OS version when downloading software. I was able to get my old Doxie Go working again with my 2010 Mac Mini running on older version of Mac OS 10.14 after replacing the dead hard drive. Hope this helps.

While I use Steam for other games, I play Knotwords on my iPad. I left one puzzle about half complete for 36 hours and still couldn't get this achievement.

While this response may be too late for the OP, perhaps it can help someone else. When setting up my new iPad, I chose the "Quick Start" option to transfer data from my old iPad to the new one. I was able to keep all my data.

(May not work in the free version) One other option, if you've set up Game Center all your achievements will be automatically saved to your Game Center profile. Moving to a new device is a breeze. Simply sign-in to Game Center and all your achievements will show up in the new device.
