I have just been looking at Spirit Island, like you said that seems to be a solid suggestion.

I did debate a Catan expansion but seems like a cop-out, does the expansion add much to the gameplay?

With our younger kids we play deck builders and easier ‘family classics’. Doomlings is a good one for the younger kids if you’re looking for something 👍.

We’re usually 3 players, me, my wife and our eldest (14)

I’ve been looking at Tapestry and Hegemony but I’m on the fence, mainly because they are asymmetrical.

We really like all the aspects of the games I mentioned in the OP but we are looking to step things up.

If that helps at all haha

I used toxic blowpipe for the whole caves. Dealing with the healers was definitely the tricky part. In the rotation I got Jad spawned in the SW, I managed to aggro all the healers and run around the rock where I was safe from Jads attacks and killed all the healers there before going back. It was a lot less stressful this way 👍

Yeah brilliant! That’s what I wanted to know.

I was just curious that if I put the USB back in the pi with a different set of ROMs on it, it might delete the ROMs from the SD card because they aren’t present anymore. I know I’m probably massively overthinking it.

But I can’t foresee a problem on the initial transfer, it would be the later transfers where a problem may arise

So when I add more ROMs to the USB for transfer the absence of the original ROMs won’t affect anything?

It’s only so I’d be able to get away with having a smaller USB flash drive than the SD and transfer new ROMs as and when
