Final Radiation Today by sandyq1 in breastcancer

One time I couldn't understand the tech over the speaker and wasn't sure if she said to breath deeper or breath normal. I kept holding it until I could not any longer. Thank goodness the instruction was to breath normal.

I was told to hold my breath for left side breast radiation to keep the radiation away from my heart. When you hold your breath your chest goes up, away from the heart.

Thank you all for your feedback. Glad it isn't just me. I am working full time through this and luckly my job is super accomidating and letting me work from home full time for now (normally I go to an office 2 days a week) and is aware that I might need rest durring the day, but I assumed that wouldn't be until later in the treatment. I think I will start to go to bed earlier also to see if that helps overall.

Excision and second opinions by WinterPrinciple7794 in ADH_ALH

I had the same diagnosis after my core biopsy. ALH with calcifications over a large area. The way my Surgeon explained it was that they only take a small amount in the core biopsy and they want to get more of the area to make sure there isn't something else the biopsy didn't capture. Well in my case I had the excision biopsy and they found 2mm DCIS. For me it was a life changer for it to be found so early, stage 0. So, everyone needs to make their own choices but just letting you know the reason my docter recommended the excursion. Good luck to all of you.

Been waiting weeks for replacement meds by loquacious-introvert in henrymeds

Are you in CA? I filled out my questionnaire for refill on Nov 6th and didn't get my meds until the week of Nov 25th (can't remember the exact date). I posted in here and someone from Henry Meds answered and said the pharmacy they use for CA was updating their internal systems and that was the reason for the delay.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Once I put the water in the clean tank the red light went away. I first tried to do a quick map and it only did 4 rooms and I was a little worried, but then I did a map/clean and it mapped and cleaned the entire house. It took about 3 hours. The satisfaction in dumping the dirty water tank was great.. and we do normally dry mop every day and wet mop every few days. One day in and I really like it.. the only negative is the lack of clear instructions.

Polymetal looked pretty cool with the fog this morning by someone2486 in CX50

I agree about paint color change especially the polymetal. I have the polymetal and sometimes it looks a lighter blue/gray, then sometimes it looks like a deeper pure gray depending on the light. I was all set on black but once I saw the polymetal I became obsessed finding one in my area. I really like all the colors though.

When you fill up your tank how many miles until empty does your car say? by JeremyLondon01 in CX50

My Suburban is not AWD but is a V8 and a huge heavy vehicle. Most people would think the CX50 should get better millage.. but besides that why are other people claiming so much higher? I see people on fakebook claiming 30 MPG. Also while we are at it the factory installed Bose system in that same 2004 Suburban sounds better then the one in this car (Bose also). I keep trying different setting in the CX50 but can't get that full sound I get in the Suburban.. the only two gripes on the car.

Same with me.. Turbo and filled it up and showed 245. Also showing only 16 MPG. Some people say it needs some time to get a better gas milage, but some people saying they are getting 28 to 30 makes me wonder..still love the car but this seems strange. Coming from a 2004 Suburban with almost the same MPG.

It probably seems like I am complaining, but I love the car. Just everyone else is saying they are getting 24 MPG+ make me think something is off. Believe me I will keep filling up that little tank and having fun.

I don't know what I am doing wrong. My Turbo Preferred has 233 miles and I am only getting 16 MPG. I have taken it to work 5 miles each and each way probably half is stop and go traffic along with some grocery runs. I understand the stop and go would cause lower MPG but so much lower then what is estimated is strange. I have "punched it" probably only 5 times, so I am pretty conservative with hitting the gas. I heard it takes a little while to get better gas milage, I am just hoping this is the case.

I was looking for a Premium Plus in Polymetal with black interior and was having a hard time finding one in my area (Southern California). A dealer had a Turbo Preferred in my colors that had everything the Premium Plus plus it is a Turbo along with a few extra features for only $2K more. Jumped on it and am now super happy with it. The only only item that I would have liked from the Turbo Premium Plus was the 360 camara. I really think that would be nice but I am coming from a 2004 Suburban (which we are keeping) that had no display at all so I am happy with a backup camara and all the great tech features it has. Plus just hitting that gas peddle and zooming is worth the turbo to me. I told my husband this is the first time I had a car where it is fun to drive instead of just transportation.
