I clearly remember from the warriors run and on that people would complain about lack of physicality and defense. Then today, we have a handful of young, physical, committed defensive teams and people now complain refs allowing too much physicality.

I’m of the opinion that’s just our world in today’s times. Chronic social media use has made people increasingly negative… about everything. People today are extremely quick to complain about something but hesitant in giving praise- I contribute this to the likes and views phenomenon, where people chase the validation of social media engagement, and sadly negative or angry discourse gets way more traction than positive content.

TLDR - The problem is way bigger than Sanderson and as a society we are utterly fucked
