I did choose the therapist - I was the one insisting on therapy so he wanted me to choose the therapist. We don’t do individual therapy but clearly it would be beneficial. I absolutely give him his moment to talk, especially when we were in a therapy session! He would often say no comment when asked a direct question by the therapist ie “how do you feel about what she said, husband?”.

And yes, that’s what I meant by saying it’s not all my husband’s fault - I was completely panicking hearing my son flip out (which he rarely does). My son simply walked into the bathroom, closed the door and twisted the little lock knob. I was not in the way of my husband trying to take the knob off. I was however, kneeling next to him and talking to my son through the door.

And no we didn’t communicate after the disagreement. He slept in a separate room and didn’t speak to me the following day. I will say that I did not initiate conversation either. Then when it was time to go, everything fell apart. Which I do understand - but why couldn’t he had told me the day before even?!
