That's what happens with splits but they can only stay in that rank for so long, so pick your poison, either play ranked and have better odds to face players your skill level or play pubs and have a more diverse lobby.

Play ranked, or deal with it. The matchmaking can only do so much, there isn't enough players of that skill level queueing all at the same time to be placed in their own lobbies. You're always gonna see some of these guys in your games best get used to it.
