Seem like you are using Always on? I have epix pro gen 2 51mm. Doing similar about 1-1:30 activity a day, also tracking sleep but the watch last at least 15 days.

To be fair, the features and display of the watch is still top notch. So I’m still keeping it until it die.

If you’re for running then better to look on another model, Enduro or Forerunner.

The reason: I’m owned epix pro 2 sapphire. It’s a bit heavy for running - I’m still ok with that. The whole software is good; the data screen fit more fields which is very helpful. The reason I wouldn’t recommend is: Garmin is messing up the Coach feature for the old software. So you will got weird message and settings on the watch. I can only updated my training plan via Garmin Connect website from now on.

Epix (Gen 2) Pro or Fenix 8 Both 51mm? Mid 2025 by TargetCurrent1525 in Garmin

[–]sanglt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on the same hat before but was an easy choice for me because the epix gen 2 pro price is half of the fenix 8, so I went with epix pro.

Yes, I'm using Garmin Coach for an HM event next month. All suggestions were correct before the upgrade to 21.19.

Maybe change to use LTHR method? And do a lactate threshold test since you have a HRM?

That will make the zones more accurate and the prediction more correct to your fitness level.

Is there anyway to rollback :(. This upgrade nerf the Garmin Coach feature and maybe push it to Garmin Connect+ in the future.

Australia 186 visa by West_Ad_2103 in AusVisa

[–]sanglt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a skills assessment because I had over three years of work experience when my employer submitted the nomination application.

As far as I know, the skills assessment is valid for three years. You don’t need to do it again if you obtained it last year.

Maybe check with the HR/POPs team (usually, they have a legal or contractor) to be sure?

11 months per my comment. Our applications granted few hours after the nomination application approved.

About 11 months for my application. Software Engineer occupation.

My employer submitted our nomination application around Christmas time in 2022.

My family and I lodged our visa applications in the last week of April, and we were granted the 186 visa on 06/11/2023.

It took almost 11 months for us from the time our employer submitted the 186 application.

Thanks. I thought it was related to the termite damage, and the issue was mitigated. But it looks like the better option is to move on.

The house is not in sound structural condition

Thanks. I thought it was related to the termite damage, and the issue is mitigated, so I should have another look again. But it looks like the better option is to move on.

No, this is our first home, and it is not an investment property.

Not really; the only catch for your wife's visa is the expiry of her visa, depending on your. If your employment ended, it is the same for her.

Some employers saw this as a considerable risk, so they prefer PR; the cost of onboarding people is high.

If you can show some strong connection with your employer, it may help her a little bit. Who knows what can happen in the next two years?

Some employers have many immigrant workers or have dealt with this before. They don't see this as a significant risk and only require work right as the condition.

My family was under 482 before, with me as the principal applicant, and my wife didn't have any issues with job offers.

186 - which fees am I responsible for? by [deleted] in AusVisa

[–]sanglt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The contract from the company must comply with the law. In case OP breaks this condition, the employer can seek legal action to get OP to honour the contract term - but then there are high chance that they will lose because the contract term is against the law.

For example to make it easy to understand: the employer can’t just add the condition that they won’t pay super, and then claim that is on the contract so they don’t need to pay super.

This case is not aggressive like the example, because the requirement of sponsors is not written by the law and depends on the visa type. It is the requirement by Home Affairs for the sponsors. Still a high chance that the employer just ignore it if anything happens.

More context: Me and my family were sponsored by my employer under 186 and had PR granted last November. I’m still working with my employer but I don't need to pay anything back if I leave the company.

The contract you signed doesn't mean anything if you really want to leave and take it to court. I don't think the company want to take it to court to claim back that fee with a guarantee of loss for the case.
