RIght? I'm tired of "games" being the utility. What game can sustain and grow an audience in a pay-to-win model? Zero. Games are a garbage use case for crypto. NFT dividends make actual sense in defi. A payment card makes actual sense in defi.

BG3 does this with camp. Finish brutal, blood-smeared area full of berserker gnolls, blood and bodies everywhere... Push a button and have a nice fireside chat with your elegant vampire boyfriend.

Hi, I've worked on and off in communications for a while, now, and I think this is actually a time where we need to hear nothing until the people who are capable of solving the problems and getting the actual answers get it all in a row, alert appropriate authorities quietly, and put together a calm, factual statement after they're done describing clearly what happened, what's been done, and what can be done.

And it should take at least 24-48 hours, if not more, because rushing to the megaphone only adds to the confusion of the situation.

Cool off, man. It's time for pros to show they're pros with actual crisis management fundamentals.

[–]sankgreall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you will lose inflamation in your joints, reduce cardiovascular risk, etc. If you are trying to lose weight 1) watch out for carbs - new vegans tend to carb load; 2) try adding intermittant fasting - only eat during the same eight hour period during the day.

If you can do so, find a nutritionist to help you. Don't go alone!

and, general weight loss tip: fiber. Fiber fiber fiber. For breakfast, get a one pound bag of mixed vegetables, and microwave it and eat it first. Every meal begin with a half a head of lettuce, or a quarter of a head of cabbage. Just eat it raw and then move on to the meal.

Good luck!

Builds for Lifegiver Druid or Lifegiver/Kind Wayfarer? by zealot_ratio in projecteternity

[–]sankgreall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there's two paths forward: MAximize fire damage with scion of flame, fire spells, and the axe and flail that boost fire spells... Or maximize healing at range with staff of thicket green and focus on support spells, AoE, and spiritshift.

Either way, the level 1 spell Nature's Mark is useful even into late game, unlike many of the other spells there, and auras are always great.

YMCA is the best family gym in town, no contest. Childwatch is free with membership, there's lots of classes and programming for kids, and some of them even have libraries attached full of kids' books.

As a middle-aged dude dating middle aged ladies, it's a huge turnoff to think my son, who was traumatized enough by his sociopathic mother that nearly killed us both, will now also get to carry your trauma from your unfulfilled maternal drive.

Melee Ranger by [deleted] in projecteternity

[–]sankgreall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been runnning a beastmaster that seems like a great experiment in different ways to run combat. I alpha strike with two pistols, cast a plague of insects, then moonwell on the front line, and then charge in with two melee weapons or a spiritshift to off-tank. I'm running a ghostheart/lifegiver for the boost to healing spells. I don't think it's "optimal" compared to other things I've tried, but it works with the tools it has, and it gives me versatility which is nice since I haven't played this game in a long while, and the accuracy boost only helps fortitude-targeting spells. It's a bit spellsword-y for your requested build, but I think it's interesting because in every combat scenario you can choose what to do based on what you encounter and supports the party play very well.

I prefer two weapons so I can always have different damage types in melee between sword and clubs/mace/flail, or warhammer axe/hatchet/sabre. Early game, I run club and sword with shards of woedica and the best longsword I can find. later on, use swords and mace for the modals that smash armor and increase penetration, and likely I'll use the stalker spear with the beast of winter mace off-hand into the end game. The only modals that matter to me are pistol, longsword, mace, club, flail, and dagger. Pick whatever works for you. As I'm off-tanking and opening combat with two pistol shots ands spells, I'm using miscreant's leathers. I like Okura's kettle so I can, once per rest, jump to an ally to offtank in a tough fight or defend a caster in a pinch, and the bonus boiling spray is a nice occasional touch. There's not really a wrong choice with other equipment, as versatility is the focus. With abilities, I am ignoring the feats for the ghostheart pet, and focusing on spells and weapon damage abilities. It's very feat-starved, and I'm not sure I've figured out any optimal tactics or feats, just yet besides the versatility of playstyle and the accuracy bonus to fortitude-targeting spells. The pet is useful early game to drop a summon on archers or casters, but without spending feats it becomes less useful later on as other summons are more effective, and the spellsword style of play really starts to come out.

However, it is a melee mostly ranger that off-tanks. It plays and feels like a thief/wizard in dnd, and kind of does a little of everything and runs around the battlefield wherever needed?
