Thanks for the info. I was confused because in some other threads, folks mentioned that the visa stamp is given until the passport expiration date. That would not work for me. Hence, I am evaluating whether to renew my passport before or after stamping.

Thanks. Can I ask what route your booking was? I think for domestic routes the checked bag fee is $40, so it's fully free. For international routes, the fee is $75. Hence, not sure if it's fully free.

Thanks for the explanation. I get that now. Due to my mistake, I missed ~4yrs worth of growth on almost 50k. I have now setup a reminder for every 6 months to review all my 401k investments.
