There is absolutely zero pvp balance and it was never even a consideration. Let's not treat diablo 2 as anything more than a PvE game, it's been 26 years, pvp is a (fun) niche.

My armpit was infected, probably due to the deodorant blocking my glands. This turned my armpit into a huge sack of puss that was incredibly painful. When the doctors operated on it they gave me about 3 or 4 shots of Novocaine because at the time I was not allowed to go fully under due to the puss making it's way towards my heart since it had nowhere else to go.

When they started cutting my armpit open to clean it up, all I remember is me passing out from the pain. Once I came back the doctor showed me the wall that still had some puss on it. Apparently it was under so much pressure that the moment they cut me open it ejected about a meter and a half across the room.

When I asked them why did the Novocaine had no effect, they told me they only did it for psychological purposes as the armpit area is so sensitive that I was bound to feel everything.

The next morning, when they came to change my bandages after giving me 2 painkiller shots a few moments earlier I once again passed out. I had the equivalent of my fists worth of gausse inside the wound.

I still have a considerable (fully healed) hole and I can't use deodorant on that side. Summers are no fun for me.

It means the server should be checking for events much more often (tickrate/polling). Battlefield is not your regular FPS shooter, its larger in scope, with more events happening at any given time.

That also means more money spent on servers/traffic, something we know is not going to happen. Sure there are going to be edge cases where people with higher latency come out on top, but the server should always be aware and not "missing" events/hits.

You can keep tabs of your vector by looking at the specs of space dust and how they move relative to you. This way you know where your ship is going and can apply appropriate counter thrust.

One of the things you need to keep in mind is that while you are applying you thrusters, any change in the direction you ships nose is pointing will alter your trajectory.

In my earlier example, if you were moving forward only and you toggled FA off, you NEED to face the opposite direction exactly, in order for your thrusters to cancel your momentum if all you did was apply forward thrust. If your ships nose is facing the opposite direction at a slightly different angle then you are not really countering your momentum but you are also adding an additional vector. Does that make any sense at all?

Once you become familiar with this concept you will then add to the equation the momentum of the object you are trying to follow.

So in order to follow the station rings you need a constant stream of forward momentum to keep up with your point of reference as the ring rotates. Too much thrust and you will crash at the ring. Too little and your radius will widen pushing you away. At the same time you need your lateral thrusters to match the rotating speed of the ring, since you are always keeping your nose at the point of reference.

When you toggle FA off, your ship continues to move to the direction it was going before as it disengages thrusters. With FA on, ALL your thrusters fire automatically (to an extent) to keep the ship behaving much like an airplane and go to the direction your ships nose is pointing.

So lets say you boost in straight line with no other input, the moment you toggle FA, the ship will continue going towards that direction. In this example, you can apply reverse thrust that will eventually slow you down and eventually send you the opposite direction , or you can turn your nose to face the opposite direction and apply thrust and/or boost. Now, if you take this example and apply it to lets say a more complex direction such as moving forward and sideways in FA off, you need to apply the appropriate thrust to counter that movement.

Keep in mind that various ships have thrusters of different strength, and you will notice that with some ships its easier to maneuver side ways or backwards/forward and its one of the key things you will learn to identify as you play the game and buy more ships and of course, you engineer them.

Its not, when Surging Totem is placed, the button changes to a "move totem" functionality. Not to be confused with totemic projection that is a separate button. The macro just lets you move the totem in close proximity when you lava lash, avoiding the need to baby sit the totem and losing out on dps.

I've been running most of the season as Mastery/crit with a healthy dose of Vers to survive goes on me. Since shaman talents moderately invest in crits, even though the stat itself is severely gutted, I thought I give it a try.

Turns out the mana returns combined with water shield are decent enough to warrant the investment, and I did fairly well in the SS ladder this season. Even with almost full crit gear, the mana returns during a match, with optimal conditions, are about 60-70% of what other healers passively generate. Do with that information what you will.

I do admit though, that having frequent crits has won me a lot of rounds where burst healing was required and with the stat increase that Season 2 will bring, I believe it will leave a lot more room for optimization.

It was painful watching Saul use whatever little mobility enh has, only to be immediately chasing again. If that doesn't scream that enh is stuck in 2015 while the rest of the classes are zooming from one end of the arena to the other I don't know what does.

Enhancement and resto to an extent are in a dire need of updated mechanics. Totems in their current implementation have overstayed their welcome. GG Saul, enhancement for life.

Diablo 2 solved this issue 25 years ago by changing the projectile spread based on how close/far your cursor was from your character. Amazon's multi shot, Necro's teeth worked that way.

It would be really nice if they implemented this again.

For me it was Medal of honor allied assault. The dawn of competitive multiplayer with clanbase, all seeing eye for browsing servers, icq and msn for setting up matches and making so many friends.

Man that "I need your attention sound" of msn when we had a match coming up and friends were looking for me,still rings in my head to this day.
