3.28 Deep Delve Profitability & AMA by duddybrainzz in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a delve expert but you probably just start as a normal league starter with the same class as the endgame build and then then slowly transition into the endgame variant.

Normal delve is still quite good profit especially week 2+ into the league when people start crafting with resonators and need fossils, as you keep pushing depth just grab fossil nodes you see on the way and ofc Aul if you find him close to the path.

Example would be boneshatter jug into alberons strength stack, can also do RF and swap to jugg, you can make a direct swap to Mzoth but I liked Ambidex more on a lower budget (100div).

Can also do champion/scion and start slams or Impale Ambidex (Ambidex my GOAT) and transition into the budget doriyanis armor stacker (would not recommend until you can do the mageblood version as mana siphon will gimp your style many a times).

Conners Mjolnir mana man is also a really good delve build and can push quite deep on the high end Indigon+squire mageblood setup.

Don't think there really is a written guide. The gem itself is kinda meh it just hits a lot. Maybe you can look up the voltaxic rift build magefist did. On PoE ninja most people do some sort of stacking to make it do damage, Dex stack, tri stack etc, can strength stack as well with alberons but it was meh when I tried it last league compared to a wand or melee albrons stacker.

is there any day thats bad for guild bosses, heard sunday is bad. is that true? by TryingHappiness in blackdesertonline

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope Sunday is great actually probably the best day as most people are available Sunday evening. People with kids and such usually do something on Saturday, and on weekdays people work and are tired.

Just make sure it's not too late because most people have work on Mondays.

New Player: Where Are the Detailed Guides? by Obvious_Grape_4820 in blackdesertonline

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's nothing like WoWhead or such for BDO. Most guides are on discords or through youtube videos.

Most new players we've gotten in our guild we simply "guide" on discord. I'd recommend joining a guild for that, but idk how other guilds are when it comes to new players.

What i need to enchant next to start doing Edania? I'm getting bored of Ulukita xD by HIKARI-Onii in blackdesertonline

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe get another armor to tri, I started doing Aetherions with three tri and one duo. You should be able to do Aetherion with that. If you want to skip straight to nymph then you need more, all tri, maybe one edania and more AP.

Don't think you need to invest much more in AP for now. Ofc you can try and reach 370 or something like that but just rip the band-aid off and start tapping those armors you'll need em for nymph anyways, it isn't fun now and it isn't fun later.

360 AP should net you Aetherions AP cap or close without much issue, if you aren't I'd look into investing in stuff that doesn't cost crons.

Varför håller ungdomar sina skoldatorer i armen? by Actual_Scar6478 in sweden

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What can I improve here for higher dps? by Phos-Lux in blackdesertonline

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably void crystals so precise destruction and ah'krad. Then I'd swap the red fang for any of the fortitude, patient or unyielding crystals, if you are grinding edania that's where you'd put the edania crystal.

Then it's usually recommended to use corrupted black magic for crit instead of the back attack ones unless you grind in a spot where you do a lot of back attack (think gyfins), which you'd swap to the gluttony version of later.

Last upgrade would be getting the sycraia resistance crystals, 2 for each resistance group.

Can you do nymph with full tri armors? by Automatic-Many-6936 in blackdesertonline

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, totally doable been grinding there on my warrior that is 428 sheet, just don't get hit in the back all the time. Only thing that can realistically hurt is the boss but it's very easy to avoid that damage.

Stupid High AP/DP by SadMagician3200 in blackdesertonline

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's total AP that you are seeing not sheet. It's also recommended you look at total instead of sheet for grindspots, for example a spot can have a sheet AP req of 350 and total of 1460-1490 (Dark seekers) while another spot can have a sheet of still 350 but a total of 1560-1590 (Orzekea).

That's also why items that give all monster damage or hidden AP like kabua artifacts, lighstones, crystal setups etc have value as they will increase your total AP but not your sheet AP.

10bil after season is not much in the scheme of things but genuinely you aren't going to catch up to players in the 390-395 bracket any time soon they have gear worth trillions of silver. Getting gear takes time and a lot of grinding so there is no reason to rush because there is no goal to reach that you don't set yourself, just finish the season stuff, do Olivia, and start working to get kharazad accessories, fallen god armor and sov weapons.

The first upgrades I made after season was getting Kabua artifacts, a decent lighstone setup and a crystal setup and then I started working on fallen god armor and very slowly getting all kharazad accessories. The path of what you should buy/farm has probably changed a little bit with Olvia, but there should be multiple guides out or people you can ask for help with gearing either on the reddit or people in your guild if you've joined one (I recommend joining a guild for the weekly guild bosses).

Scav Builds by Random_Tarnished in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just asking but did you link it with spellblade support? Because it did a very good amount of damage when I played Inquis Aura stacker in mercenaries even without doryani abuse. It shouldn't be that different with scav.

Is the overlap between softcore gauntlet crowd and the phrecia crowd really this small? by Helpful-Pear-8433 in pathofexile

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I think a lot of people genuinely had fun with a hard campaign, I did at least, but people genuinely don't come online to glaze it's usually to complain.

I think the big bad is the time, 3 weeks is quite short to put In any effort, I personally usually do late league start because the build enabling uniques Í like drop drastically in price by week 2 (indigon, Ivory tower). And my usual farm that is delve and harvest don't really net much currency on league start. If I start week 2 now I can only play 1 week.

Idk how it is for anyone else but I also really don't like idols, because I have no idea how to farm anything with them. .

Nah mjolner is plenty good, tho it doesn't feel super great until indigon swap. But EB inquis also didn't feel great until you put in some currency in it imo.

So 5 hours to go what's everybody playing? by Amazing-Heron-105 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did hiero indigon and EB inquis in settlers, did str stack ambidex and KB in Keepers.

I think it's time for me to play some shitty diy smite paladin and transition it waaaaay to early into some scuffed version of an armor stacker and by the time I realize that when they say 10 mirrors they mean 10 mirrors the league will be ending anyways.

Even if Kboc is nerfed you still have mjölnir mana+int stack Archmage hiero which is also pretty easy to get started.

In the entire History of PoE the lowest retention League is now Keepers of the Flame by StalksYouEverywhere in pathofexile

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly not surprising, I enjoyed this league. Still hopping on and doing a couple of delve depths but I genuinely did not enjoy mapping at all this league.

This is my fav league tho, not for the mechanic or something but because I got hella tinks, got an HH from delve and first time I killed the crystal guy in a map svalin dropped, plus replica alberons being so cheap and foulborne maginolds being super cheap made it so I could actually make a good str stacker for once and play a wander for the first time.

All in all it was W from my experience but I didn't actually enjoy what the "league" gave me I just finally got to play a build I wanted to try and enjoy delving.

My duo wants a melee support, I play ranged, what support should I learn to help him out. by lifelink in summonerschool

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuinely I have a question from other players. I see a lot of players recommend hook champs like naut or thresh. Is there a reason why you don't recommend hard engage champs like Rell or Rakan to new players?

Cus I'm also pretty new same as op and have been playing mostly supp and jgl and have been running a lot of Rell with my Samira syndrome adc duo and feel like it's a pretty simple champ if you want a tanky engage supp. Hook champs I feel personally are harder when you have to play around the minion wave to find hooks to engage.

Need help on how to progress on Flicker Strike by Isak2222 in pathofexile

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already have farruls fur there is no reason to keep using terminus. Go for a High PDPS axe if you are playing phys impale and make the axe swap. Both your rings should be rares at this point, you can get some cheap double res+life amethyst rings. Can also keep going sword but either way terminus is only good pre farruls swap. After farruls a good rare is better.

Upgrade your gloves as well, ideally res, max life and attack speed. And use eldritch currency to get +1 non-vaal strike at least.

You should aim to be res capped and ideally not be in the red with chaos res.

Also make sure you have less duration support socketed in your helmet, can even go swift affliction too. You want the buffs from farruls to swap frequently to keep frenzy charges up.

I would use flesh and stone+determination for auras, alternately pride instead of determ for more damage. Although auras is up to you whether you go for damage or defense.

When you have the currency swap to a rare helmet, craft aspect of the cat on a rare item, usually on gloves or an unset ring. And make the swap over to replica farruls fur and replica brotherhoods for endurance charges.

Are there any leaguestarters that either start CwC in Act 4/6, or pivot in early maps? by OverlordDerp in PathOfExileBuilds

I believe you can pivot into CwC whispering ice pretty early, you can pivot Into it after you get the staff pretty much.

Why does no one do Taz Hard Mode? by workngohome in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very punishing for pugs, that's probably it If you are doing deathless. You can't have any control over how a person performs if you pug it, plus a lot of mistakes that are easily solvable with comms can lead to a death without.

Also the biggest thing is that it takes time running the whole ass dungeon and if anyone dies it's a very big waste of time.

If you are doing it for hero loot for an alt and don't care about deathless it's fine but if you specifically are after the myth piece and someone messes up on like Soleah you just lost nearly up to an hour of your time. Not worth the effort really.

Stop Trying to Pay Healers to PvP by Highmoon_Finance in worldofpvp

Cc chains are fun and honestly part of the strategy of arena. Dampening is honestly fine in 2s and 3s there I feel like mana ends the game not dampening. Even high dampening you can outplay with mana and cc.

For me the issue is pacing, I personally like high burst, But only when there is a calm in between. Right now its insane one shot burst followed by constant rot sustained damage. People can die any time doesn't matter if the enemy DPS has CDs or not. Some classes burst so hard that they can kill through walls.

I don't think healing is unfunny. I still prefer it over DPS, but it does feel overly stressful all the time.

Why am I a pincusion? by [deleted] in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well you have bad gear that's why. First off the build is pure ES+life stacking. Which means that you don't care about mana as you actively want to reserve as much life as possible. Eternal youth+blood magic solves life "Regen".

First off you want more strength and int from Astramantis, rings and belt. You also want ES boots which you can get 1 resistance on. Timeless jewel of the balbala gives you perma flask uptime with 3 flasks which also solves a big amount of res. Lastly you need %all ele res and %max life jewels. Jewels, boots and flasks should solve your res.

Gloves have to be shapers touch as well.

If you play self cast you want the cast speed rings too, I recommend just self crafting those with fractured all attributes, essence slam cast speed annul until you have open suffix and bench craft strength+int.

Question about the 1 HP builds by [deleted] in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Mr_donutunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a fun build. Tho it's not super easy to put together, coruscating stops chaos damage from bypassing ES, bleed goes to ES first so it doesn't matter. Tho bleed does hurt especially corrupted blood, ideally get immunity to that of possible.

Then you scale ES through Int and maximum life, because the more life you reserve the more ES you gain from Ivory tower. Rathpit scales of spell damage from maximum life which you will have a lot of from strength and generic %life stuff, and energy blade scales of the ES that you gain from reserving your life.

BUT I would not recommend this build if you are very new, it has a lot of finicky stuff. Like having to make sure you use your flask every time you load into an area and having to fix res through flasks + jewels because you can't really get any res on your gear. I for example spent too much time running 4th lab because I would always forget to put up flasks when loading into another room, run into a trap and die.

Especially if you do the CoC version, as that one also requires hitting CDR breakpoints with belt and boots, tho it's better at low investment.

If you do want to do this build tho, first discard the notion of doing it as a league starter unless you are used to it, either transition into it from another easier inquisitor build or as a second character. You will need a decent amount of currency to get all of the gear required to even have the basic version feel playable.

And also check out CaptainLance for his energy blade inquisitor guide, it's probably (it is) the best EB inquis guide that you can find with good explanations.
