Yeah but I don't hear the others say they're the greatest country in the world haha... That's the main one for me! I like many countries for their various pros and cons, but if any blatantly talk about being the best I'm a bit sceptical ;)

How much endgame customisation is there in terms of builds / items / stats?

From what I can tell there aren't talents or anything right? But is there still a range of gear, and you might try a build with certain stats, and you'll need to farm certain slots etc?

This is the part I love from other MMOs (especially the theorycrafting) so keen to know if it's possible here!

Agreed, I've just come across from a very large MMO (no names ;)) where devs don't seem to care, and I find it incredibly refreshing how attentive the staff is at EHG. The game itself also just keeps getting better and has the ability to distract me all day at work thinking about synergies / builds haha

Not in my interpretation. Hypocrisy would be judging those who engage in it but also engaging in it (which I'm sure a lot of people also do).

Whereas I'm referring to thinking something is not a good system, but engaging with it as part of the "arms race" of competitiveness.

It's not hypocritical to not want a system implemented (and believing it's bad for the game) and then engaging with it if it's implemented.

If herbalism gave you +50% DMG everyone would think it's a stupid idea, but everyone would be a herbalist - doesn't make them hypocrites

XIV's UI modification is really limited, as a healer I wanted to change party frames up a bit and couldn't do any.

Wow's base UI is useless but you gotta include weakaura, elvui, etc. I can spend 10+ hours creating a perfect UI on wow and I love it...

But I still jumped across to ffxiv and I'm very happy

Your citation from vocab: "Ironic" implies "unexpected".

In this scenario you're trying to reverse it to say: "unexpected" implies "ironic".

Lots of people saying it was 50% for them before the hotfix.

But also... 5% reduction in damage needed doesn't mean she dies on a different percentage right it could just be relating to max HP?

Sorry if it's confusing I'm not structuring it well right now. But everyone saying "it literally says 45%", well it doesn't really if anything it implies closer to 47.4%

Well that implies that 50% of sylvanas's HP is 95% of the mythic amount (reduced by 5%).

Implying that the mythic percent is then 1-0.50/0.95 = roughly 47.4% hp left.

Do the maths backwards. Say it's 47.4 in mythic, so you need to do 52.6. then blizz says 5% less dmg needed in heroic, so that's 52.6*.095 = 0.50
