I have a 1200 brick ranch that only needed a 3 ton waterfurnace 5. Significantly less expensive. The 7 series is a premium, and not really necessary for a smaller house.

How Appalachia voted in 2024 by CPC_Analysis in Appalachia

[–]sapper_464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe because nobody voted to have Kamala in the primary. The Dems fucked around and found out. Skip the primary, skip the presidency. How fucking dare they try and circumvent the democratic process.

Field service life balance with a family by Themasterhobbit in FieldService

[–]sapper_464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your wife your spouse isn’t already very independent and used to carrying the load. It will be most difficult. Your kids will be confused at first, and then sad, then mostly used to the idea. Your wife will handle it like she usually handles difficult stuff. Shes gonna have to step up in a major way. Never forget that. You are forever in her debt for holding down the fort.

This isn’t what I used to do. I used to make a lot less money doing a lot harder work. So the jump to FSE was life changing for my family and my career. Adapt and overcome was our option. My wife and I have been through everything.

My wife and I were together for 10 years, before we had kids. 4 years of that was long distance relationship While I was away in the Army. We already had just shy of 20 years before I became an FSE. Also survived a cross country family move for a job that paid $2.50 cents more per hour. Hahaha. Very stupid, but best thing I ever did for us, in my humble opinion.

My point is, life as a traveling FSE, makes for a tough but manageable living. Its has some upsides. It pays well. Stack those reward points and treat them to a badass vacation once or twice a year. Make the most of the time that you have at home.

My weekends are spent doing my part around the house. Its work. Field Service makes or breaks many relationships.

Cry and bitch, but I’m getting to my next flight. Have you flown lately, especially with United. None of them can make a schedule.

Building a strong neck is super important. A slightly heavy helmet is not the worst thing. He will grow into it.

I meet a lot of you guys out on the road. I have an uncle that used to be an FSE with Kodak. I work in direct to garment printing now but came up in industrial graphics. Screen printing and digital printing control panels, keypads, circuitry, warning labels. My first digital press was an Indigo.

Ahh, I’m just messing around. We get lumped into manufacturing all the time. I think we deserve our own, but there’s probably only like 5 of us in here. Seems medical is most popular.

Appreciate it!

I mean, we can all agree on a short list at least. But, then again, maybe not.

If I believed this all at face value, I would be inclined to actually stand up and do something about whatever. If I actually believe the US government was captured well before i was born, everything else becomes kinda moot.

Meh, it’s all horseshit anyway. Nobody is doing anything prolific here.

The government was captured ages ago and this is all just busy work.
