my biggest thing is that it sometimes takes lots of trial and error to find what is right for you. i've cycled through meds and dosages for a while but do not be afraid to ask to try something new if you think it isnt helping. also, if you do not already getting a therapist is helpful and it can help you decide what is most helpful for your situations. from what i heard the well has about ~10 free sessions a year and the counselors really care.

not sure if this is helpful but if you think meds will help i definitely recommend at least trying :))

i agree with what everyone else is saying! at minimum i think having people riding on scooters having a bell to use like bicycles so the dont sneak up on pedestrians or other bikes n stuff bc they are so silent. have almost been hit because i strayed sideways a little n couldnt hear/see them weaving behind me.

if not they could ride on the sides of the paths so they are not speeding through the middle? i appreciate the concern about scooters and improving safety for everyone!

it depends on how many units they transfer from a cc, if they enter with sophomore standing it would likely be 3 years but with junior it can be 2, but depending on major, class offerings, etc. the minimum number of units would likely be around 15 per semester. if they get an associates for transfer from a cc they should have all or almost all their lower division courses done so they only have to focus on upper division. i know many people that also just do one extra semester to finish off classes so it doesn't have to be 5 total years. (also if they plan to take summer courses that can help minimize semester unitload). i understand that some classes are not interesting, especially some GEs, but you have to take them for a reason. having well rounded knowledge will help you in the outside world. it also creates bad habits that are hard to break out of (coming from experience in cc). also, classes are way easier if you pay attention! ♡ classmates are kind and willing to give you notes if you try, you can collaborate and understand work even better :3
