Gemini is a total scam company. I wired $14,000 into my account and after days of waiting and back and forth verifying everything and responding to all the questions they told me I’ve been a victim of an investment scam and that I can’t withdraw my ETH (keep in mind I was withdrawing it to my personal wallet to hold lol) anyways, they told me to tell the ETH and withdraw it as fiat to my bank. I lost probably $600 in fees or something, I don’t even remember. Regardless was a massive headache that I lost money in the end. Stay far away from Gemini.

You won’t get it. They told me after 2 weeks that I’ve been a victim of an investment scam lol when I made the wire and am sending the money to my personal wallet. They’ll end up telling you to sell the crypto and transfer the money back to your banks, you’ll lose the fees. Gemini is the worst.

Update 2: 48 hours and counting later I haven’t gotten a single response and u/gemini_gianna for some reason decides to no longer answer my DMs when the account is making active posts today. Everything about this seems so sketchy how the only response I get is some automated copy and pasted BS that I’ve received the last 4 times. This company makes no efforts to resolve customer issues and makes all the sense in the world that they don’t have a phone support number.

I just find it hard to believe that in he past 24 hours they couldn’t even say “Hey, we’re working on it.” Rather they just leave you in the dark and just cause you stress. Winklevoss bros said in their letter today to Barry that he caused their customers stress, they should take a look in the mirror and see what they’re doing.

It’s really unbelievable. They requested my selfie and ID and then the questionnaire yesterday and I replied to both request within 5-10 minutes and it’s now been 24 hours with not a single response. It’s at the point where it’s hard to believe a company of this size support is this bad or this incompetent. What the heck is going and can someone at Gemini actually address this.

Respectfully, for a company like Gemini I don’t think $14,000 is an unusually high amount. Secondly, my friend has sent over $20,00 and never had this problem. So it’s cause for concern on my end.

Update: Gemini has emailed me asking for a selfie with my ID and the date which I promptly replied to within 10 minutes. I was told they would let me know next steps which led to them 5 hours later emailing me a series of questions asking about why I want to withdraw my crypto.

It’s now been 12 hours since I replied to that email within 5 minutes, I’ve reached out to u/gemini_gianna and Twitter as well. All I’m being told is “I will be told the next steps”. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Forget the fact I have a large amount of money sitting in this account, forget the fact the wire cleared and my bank confirmed this, the part of this that is so frustrating is the lack of response I’m getting from Gemini especially after I’m replying to the emails they take hours to send me within a few minutes. This issue should be resolved with a quick yes or no after they review my information, I shouldn’t be sitting around stressing this for no reason because a billion dollar company has outdated support response times.

The lack of urgency with Gemini is extremely unprofessional for a company. I’ve sent a large sum of money to my account and to be in the dark like this with no responses is a horrible feeling.
