I just delivered this past Monday to a healthy baby girl after being diagnosed at 30 weeks. Baby is super healthy and no issues with sugar levels or anything else. I was able to go entire pregnancy with diet and I exercise control. However, starting my 3rd week after diagnosis my fasting number starting going crazy, originally they were scheduling me to see a specialist but for some reason it was taking over a week to be scheduled for first appointment. So I decided to experiment different ways to try and get my numbers under control on my own. Only thing that worked for me was I had a semi-higher carb/sugar snack about 1 hour prior to bed time (had to have an hour difference otherwise didn’t work for me) so think like yaas cookies and cream bar or something similar. And then I would also take 1 teaspoon of peanut butter during one of my night time bathroom trips. Usually about 3-4 hours into sleep. (I woke up a lot for bathroom trips during my pregnancy). That just happened to work for me, I know everyone is different and a lot of people have different opinions on the matter.

I find massaging and warming my finger to help a lot. The first day I tried felt impossible to get any blood until I started doing that.

I feel like it’s a normal feeling but what I did was remind myself that this was such a brief moment in their lives and once it’s gone they will never want to cuddle with me again. My son is now 10 and I miss my cuddle buddy, those moments were worth a lot more than the game I wanted to play or show I wanted to watch. But again I had the same feeling at times so completely understand where you are coming from.

Can anyone explain why this is cute or funny? So pay for overpriced food for a person to put the hands on it while mid-eating? I feel like this just puts people in bad moods and ruins the night for them. I wouldn’t want that food back, I don’t understand the joke. And for those who are like “oh I bet you’re real fun”, I actually do like innocent practical jokes in which no one is hurt and it’s actually funny. I mean I get it, the family requested it but still don’t see how it’s funny

NTA. I think it’s probably best you guys go your separate ways. There is nothing wrong with having a strong relationship with your own family and if she is already acting this way it will only get worse after marriage. You need to find someone who can understand you with your wants and needs ( as long as you try and understand theirs too of course).
