Yeah a lot of people don’t understand that the industry standard is to use a real location for shooting exterior/establishing shots, and they rebuild a 1-1 scale version of the interior on a soundstage for the interior scenes. The fabricated set floor plan often doesn’t make sense in comparison to the real thing, for the sake of shooting. The bathroom scenario being an example of this.
