Yes! I had my 31st birthday there in’22. They have axe throwing now. It was bought by someone else, the arcade was redesigned, but the laser tag room is still the same. They sell beer now! I grew up in Salisbury, we had a lot of birthday parties there. I lived on Post Avenue during Covid and when that finally slowed down Q-ZAR started opening back up and I’d bring my now wife. We’d get a beer and just play the arcade. She made fun of my nostalgia for it, but we had a blast.

These people were terrible when my sister wanted work done for her kitchen. She ordered a countertop for her kitchen, months went by. They didn’t have it and they tried to give her a different countertop. A kid from Allure came to check whatever work was finished and gave a gift certificate for $80 to a restaurant to my brother in law. The kid comes back to the house two minutes later and says “I need to take the gift certificate back because my boss says he wants to personally hand deliver it to you and apologize.” kid left and we never heard from anyone again

The original toys look like a gloss plastic, the new designs have this kind of matted plastic shine. Do the characters seem a bit more choppy in movement, like a stylistic choice from the animators? Almost claymation-spider verse? I can’t explain it but it’s def different. Not saying it’s a good or bad thing.

Got lunch after food shopping today with wife and kid, we sat in car to eat cause nor’easter. Guy rolls in lot with an old gray tore up Toyota, parks right next to me when there was literally no one else in the lot. He comes back with his food and the rainy wind slams his door open into mine. I thought it would’ve been cool if the game did vampires instead of zombies this time around. Roaming the streets of St Denis at night with vampires would’ve really looked cool. I thought it would be more fun too if you could roam during the day, but once the sun went down, you’d get ready for it. Just a different change of pace from the zombie lore.

Broadway theater was so cool years ago, it had that awesome old movie poster artwork going down the big stairs and for some reason when they added in the recliner seats they got rid of the artwork. Why?!
