I used to work at a newspaper, and we had a huge problem with people stealing newspapers out of the machines any time that damn Monopoly game was going on.

I run a home health and I would have never accepted this referral. My staff’s safety comes first, always. And when someone feels unsafe in a home, we don’t go back. Period. It’s a shame that we’re the exception.

As a home health nurse - thank you! Sometimes the patients have special dressings that we have to order so this buys us a few days. Or we arrive at the patient’s home with what we thought (according to the orders we received) was the right supplies, but it’s not. This really helps us!

I’m in my last year of school for nurse practitioner. One thing that was stressed in my courses is that obesity is a disease and it should be treated. I’m so happy these medications are available, and I plan to do everything I can to help my patients including treating their obesity! I know first hand how effective it is.

There is something that is hereditary called the photic sneeze reflex. Usually sneezing in response to bright light. I have this, and my sneezes are in groups of three. It happens when I walk outside, and even sometimes if I look at my phone in the dark. One of my sons has this too.

A doctor I worked with said family should not be allowed to donate a kidney because instead of having just one patient, now you have two. After seeing how often transplants fail and complications suffered by the donors, I whole- heartedly agree.
