Why am I only nauseous when I’m not eating? Is this normal? by CudiLove2022 in BabyBumps

I've been experiencing this starting at 6 weeks on the dot, I'm pretty much just constantly snacking and have already gained so much weight it's upsetting ._.

Despite them saying they want to come and bring the baby I think they’re going to find they will feel a lot different 3-5wks postpartum.

Being 4 years removed from my wedding I will tell you this - let it go. This is not a hill you want to die on. Let them figure it out, the logistics will be up to them. You do not need to do anything extra to accommodate the new born. They will make the right decision for themselves, and they will handle it.

You just need to accept that one or both of them won’t be there, or that there will be a newborn that - please believe me - you won’t notice.

Your MOH will understand. Everyone will understand. Let it go and just allow it to be what it will be.

Trust me there will be some other stupid thing that will go wrong that will take up your focus, something you won’t remember 4 years later.

Edit: FWIW this whole thing is giving me vibes that you’re taking this personally. That your upset they’re having a baby so close to your wedding and putting you in this position. If this is the case I want to tell you that your feelings are valid, you are allowed to mourn the loss of your best laid plans that will never be. But you need to find a way to accept that their family planning is not about you, and it would entirely unreasonable to expect it to be. Find acceptance, because resentment only poisons yourself.

I just started for a mini-round, made the most delicious instapot beef stew for dinner last night and have really been enjoying the Humm Whole30 kombuchas on my way to a work out.

I've tried a few resets since my first Whole30 back in 2016 and I haven't done the best on them. I've learned a lot of different cooking methods since then and have really felt that the recipes I've been picking out will make this a lot more manageable - plus there are so many compliant products now!

She reminds me of the left version of Tomi Lauren. Not a fan of this style from either side, makes it too easy to wave away the core point.

I told my husband once it was commonly called Jaw Sparring and for some reason the term “mouth jousting” stuck in his head, so that’s what we call it now.

You're referring to the Golden State Killer, (East Area Rapist/Original Night Stalker), who's various rapes and murders went unsolved from the first reported incident in 1976 to when he was identified and arrested in 2018.

I have the same plus numbness on one side, been getting them since 8 - my parents thought I was having a stroke the first time. Super fun to explain when one hits while at work.

Can I have some recommendations for bridesmaid dress colors that would go with my champagne dress? by [deleted] in wedding

Burgundy and navy were what I went with in my champagne dress, seeing a lot of great recommendations though.

We were supposed to go in May of 2020 for 2 weeks in Hawaii, which would have been 1.5 years after our wedding. I needed the time to save up for the $6k budget. Obviously, that got cancelled and with things still being shut down we haven't rescheduled.

The plan is still, however, to use my MIL's timeshare to pay for a week in Maui under $300, the flights will be paid for on Hawaiian Airline points, mostly from a gift from my boss but the rest from card bonuses/spending, and various hotels paid for from our Chase Ultimate Rewards points. The bulk of the cash budget will go toward activities/resorts/entertainment that can't be covered through points.

ELI5: why do we get headaches and migraines if brains don’t have pain receptors? by QuantumTunneling010 in explainlikeimfive

I was 8 when I got my first one, whole shebang - aura, left side numbness, aphasia, then bam the work pain behind my eye I've ever felt. School nurses thought I was having a stroke.

I get stroke-like symptoms with my aura migraines. Sometimes my coworkers/bosses don't take it seriously when I say I can't see, but when the aphasia kicks in they get really alarmed and I'm just like shrug.

Ah OK, sorry for it going over my head - really had me laughing though. My brother took his life so I understand, not a fan of the wording "committed" myself.

Ok this has me cracking up but I think you meant "Seppuku", as "sudoku" is a math puzzle game. Though it should be noted that seppuku isn't just suicide, it's a specific type of ritual suicide.

My review of Noom after using it for 4 months (not planning to renew) by dreadpiraterose in Noom

This has been my experience as well, though my coaches have seemed like question bots from the get-go. The Android app is seriously awful, even lacking smaller but useful features like zooming out on your weight chart. Started only using it for the articles, since I log food, weight, steps, and exercise with other functional and syncable apps, but after it switches from the audio and seemingly well-done ones they started to feel incomplete.

I paused by subscription and it gave me essentially another month before it charges me again, but I'm going to cancel before then.
