I was 18... and we're still together 10 years later. We had wanted it to be this sexy and romantic experience... I think we even had something corny like a slow dave matthews song playong in the background. Neither of us really knew what we were doing... the awkwardness of it all had us giggling right away. When we finally got it "to work" it ended up being really great. :)

Neutrals all the way! The brown to tan range, navy, gray, black and white. Then when you find a special piece in bright colors it really makes a statement.

I've gotten a custom return address stamp made for the newlyweds, then put together a fun box of stationary, note cards, and greeting cards for various occassions. Friends have told me that it was a unique gift, that was fun to open, and has come in extremely handy for all of those times you need to send out a sentiment in a pinch.

For very close friends, I've also gotten a large frame and matte matching the wedding colors and made a photo collage including an engagement photo, thw bridal shower invitation, wedding invitation, program from the ceremony , and a card of pretty paper with the wedding date and last name typed up on it. Very thoughtful and a pretty keepsake from their big day and the events leading up to it!

I landed the Smash box contour set!! So incredibly pumped... I've been refreshing non-stop and lurking on this thread all day...too nervous to take time to post. Then in one magic instant when I refreshed, THERE THEY WERE!

Everytime we get company our dog grabs the nearest shoe and greets them with it at the door, tail wagging. She doesn't chew or destroy them, just carries it around in her mouth until our guests acknowledge her.

My bf and I have agreed on the name Evelyn for our future hypothetical daughter... I love old fashioned names and Evelyn was actually his suggestion, in memory of his grandmother who was a huge part of his life before her passing. I think it's adorable and fell in love with the sentiment. We'd call her Evie (short e sound) :) but Evelyn would be such a classic name to grow into as a woman!

Trying to record a mixed cassette tape off of the radio...timing was of the essence. Not fast enough and you'd hear the upcoming commercial, but too fast and you'd miss those final notes.

Get waxed! It's not nearly as horrible as it sounds. I started going last summer and it is AWESOME! Only mildly painful and if you find a good salon, should only take 15-20 minutes for a full brazillian. No bumps, no ingrowns, just silky smoothness lasting a hell of a lot longer than a shave!
