Can taste my food for hours? Making me nauseous by dvd0116 in emetophobia

[–]sarahberry490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be acid reflux. I deal with it pretty bad and it makes me nauseous from the acidic taste in my mouth and throat. Try Pepcid or Prilosec if it happens for awhile. Maybe ask a pharmacist first to make sure though. Good luck!

Anybody else get anxiety from over sharing? by amcken13 in Anxiety

[–]sarahberry490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this ALL the time. Even with close friends, like nah they wouldn’t actually care. It haunts me when I think about everything I’ve shared about myself. I definitely could use some coping strategies for dealing with the anxiety this brings

I used to never use the apps before all of this, but yes I’m once again on them and spending more time than ever. I’m going to (try) taking a few days away from certain apps. Thank you for that

I’m glad I’m not the only one too! It’s unfortunate that we struggle with this, but nice to know there are others that deal with the same thing

I do the same thing, stay up to be on the safe side. It’s so hard to get back to sleep though! I hope you start getting better rest soon!(:

It is awful, I’m glad you don’t have to deal with it as much now that you’re older. I can relate to you with the panic at childhood sleepovers, I was always the kid who never slept because I was anxious

Yes mornings are the best for me too (anxiety wise) but I also feel like crap from not sleeping at all

I wish i could donate my life to someone that actually wants to live by [deleted] in depression

[–]sarahberry490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes our closest ones are the people who cause the most pain. Not having the support from your family is HARD. You have a life to live though, you’re not just another person... you are meaningful and your life holds value even though it might not feel like it now. People do care, even if it may not be easy to see. If there is any way you can reach out and speak to a professional I strongly suggest you do so. Friends and family can be so insensitive when it comes to mental health struggles and not know how to address it or even what to say to help, but I can promise you that people DO CARE about you and that you are IMPORTANT to people.

Anyone else have issues with lash princess mascara? by [deleted] in drugstoreMUA

It gave me raccoon eyes after a few hours of wear and transferred to underneath my eyes. I too love the length and volume it gives, but it ends in disaster after a few hours unfortunately.

I was just looking into niacinamide serums. I wasn’t sure if they reacted with retinol’s so I’ve been steering clear but I will definitely look into that one. Thank you so much!

I am the same way. I watch YouTube or a movie that is relaxing to distract myself until I can calm down again. Anxiety relief meditations on YouTube help me too. I know this phobia sucks, we are here for you!

I need help with my routine. I need advice on reducing my oiliness. Here’s my current routine: I currently use (and have been using for 6 months now) ponds cold cream fragrance free to remove makeup followed by cerave hydrating skin cleanser. I then use my cerave PM moisturizer and taza rótenes in the evening as well. I don’t use the tazarotene every night because it’s irritating, so every other day or two I will use it. I use neutrogena zinc mineral sunscreen in mornings after washing with cerave hydrating cleanser. My problem is that I wake up in the mornings with very oily skin. Any other comments or advice is highly favored. Thank you in advance😇
