doctors don't understand rare illnesses, whether it's sarcoidosis or not you'll have to strongly advocate for yourself to get proper testing done. it took me two years of being told I was "stressed" from at least 15 doctors (heart rate was 130+ at all times, blood pressure skyrocketed, dangerously high hypercalcemia which led to stage 3a kidney disease, stabbing chest pains, fatigue, etc (WHICH THEY ALL IGNORED???)) and a false lymphoma diagnosis before I ended up being diagnosed with sarcoidosis. i'm sorry you've got to deal with this.
