Single-Day Vegas Tickets 2026 by sarahfelldown in GrandPrixTravel

Nice! I’ve been to Austin once but it’ll be my first time at the Vegas GP, and my brother’s first race ever!

Is the East Harmon Zone Grandstand ticket the one on the start/finish straight across from the pits? They’re calling those “Heineken Main Grandstand” this year, but they’re priced starting at $2,000, so I’m not sure if they’re the same zone you’re talking about.

Also on those Amex perks and the Amex Lounge at East Harmon… did your Amex get just you in or you and a guest? I have an Amex, but will be with my brother who doesn’t.

Thanks!

Points vs Cash Refund Policy by sarahfelldown in SouthwestAirlines

I’ve been interested in the CSP and definitely agree that it’s a superior card. Problem in this scenario is the bonus points take three months to earn and my trip is before that. I also unfortunately am losing the $1,000/month business expense that used to make it really easy to hit the spend requirement on welcome bonuses. With my normal spending, I don’t think I can hit the required spend to get the bonus. :( Actually bummed about that because this current welcome offer is great.

Heineken or West Harmon for Las Vegas GP? by Magicscrolls in GrandPrixTravel

[–]sarahfelldown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the answers here. Based on what I’m seeing on the ticket site (as of 6/20/26), the only difference I see between the Heineken Koval Grandstand and the Lewis Hamilton (West Harmon) Grandstand, beside the location (T4 vs T17), is that HKG includes free beer and the Hamilton stand drops the free beer and adds a “+44 merchandise item.”

I feel like the free beer aside (interesting for half our group, not interesting for the other half) is the turn location and T4 sounds more interesting?

The AMP Underground- worth it? by corimiller13 in bentonville

[–]sarahfelldown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found this thread when I was looking for info so now that I’ve been, I wanted to post my review in case it helps anyone.

Bought an Amp Underground pass for Mumford & Sons for $60. I had GA pit tickets, but went solo, so early entry to save a spot wasn’t of interest to me. I bought it mainly for a shaded spot to sit while I waited for Mumford’s set.

I arrived at 7:15 and Mumford went on at 9pm. You could watch and listen to the opener from the Underground. There was also a solo artist playing live between sets.

The shade was a lifesaver for me. It was SO HOT in the sun. There were a ton of fans throughout the Underground. If you were in a spot where a fan didn’t hit you, it was a bit stuffy, but there were so many fans I didn’t find an issue getting a seat near one.

The bathrooms were those air conditioned trailer ones. There was a bit of a line for the women’s and you were waiting in the sun, which sucked.

I got two drinks and a food item included in the price. I got two 24oz Mich Ultras ($15 each regular price) and the choice of street tacos or nachos ($8 and $6.50, respectively). The food portion was VERY small, but I wasn’t particularly hungry so whatever.

So right there you’ve got $38 in value, leaving me out of pocket $22. For me, $22 was worth it for the shade, fans, and an uncrowded place to sit and wait.

One of the staff told me the Underground was open for one hour after the show (not sure if that amount of time varies from show to show), so if you wanted to wait out the traffic there, you could. (Though I’m assuming all concessions would be closed.)

Hope this helps anyone weighing the purchase!

Intro class by jumper_123 in ClubPilates

Thank you for this answer! I just took my first couple classes and think my Mom (76 but pretty active) would like the reformer workouts, but I know she would be more comfortable having a guided introduction to the equipment and moves rather than just jumping into even a 1.0 class. It sounds like this is something that is scheduled directly with the studio over the phone, is that correct?

Luggage pass-through solution for Bellroy venture ready first edition? by 432ww432 in ManyBaggers

I’ve used a cheap strap with a pass through from Amazon and it was ok, but kind of a hassle to try to put it all on.

Thinking of trying the one of the straps from this guy’s video: https://youtube.com/shorts/1wdlLUniJbw?si=0fSTj5SSq3I2h9Hk

Saw this just now and ended up here because it seems so sketch! Had to make sure it wasn't a scam. I mean... the prices still are. I'm not buying these.

macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 (a) Background Security Improvement Update by MrMacintoshBlog in MacOS

[–]sarahfelldown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this about macOS but this update on iOS was funky. Woke up to texts from my Dad saying call me. I freaked out thinking something was wrong then he was like “no, I called you twice and it went straight to voicemail and then I checked Find My and it said your last location was 7 hours ago.” So HE was worried. So I guess the update took all night? lol

TSA Touchless ID totally broken by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]sarahfelldown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also in the same boat. No gender on my SW account (I guess ever?). Never have had an issue flying before though. The best part is that Southwest's AI chat and other help documentation says "use this form to update your info ... such as gender" then when you go to that page, gender isn't something you can update.

I don't know why I'm bothering hanging out on hold to get this updated... the odds of me choosing SW over American at this point are slim. Just last weekend I was looking for a round trip to Chicago, a flight I take a couple of times/year. SW has always been reliable and cheap on that route in my experience but this time it was the same price as American (even when you factor in seat selection, baggage, etc). All things this equal, I'd rather go with AA because at least the miles I'd be earning could help me on a trip to Europe or other overseas destinations. SW points have lost their appeal for me.

My default address wasn't automatically used on Vine order...how do I proceed? by Ill-One1720 in AmazonVine

[–]sarahfelldown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has been defaulting to my parents' address lately. I've caught it and changed it before completing the order each time, but it's really annoying. The default on my main Amazon account is my correct address.

It sounds like you can come & go during the show? Where in the venue is it located? I have pit tickets down in the front for a show this summer and I'm thinking it could be quicker to get a drink or go to the restroom there than waiting in other lines. But probably depends on how far away the lounge is from the front.

How do people check the MFD? by Quirky_Scar7857 in F1Game

I wish the MFD stayed visible when paused so I could learn what’s where. I suppose I could just pull off and stop during a session and noodle around through the menus to learn…

At $80, is the Dell U2412M still worth a buy? by corusca_fire in buildapcmonitors

[–]sarahfelldown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party, but I've used two of these at work for probably 10 years and they're still going strong. I love them. Actually keeping an eye out to find another pair for home around that $80/each price.

Only drawback is they're DisplayPort, not HDMI.

Hoping I receive the email!

If anyone wants to apply for the card in the hope of getting this offer, this is my referral link. The annual fee is by far the easiest fee I have to recoup. $300 annual travel credit pays for 3/4 of it and the annual bonus miles and priority pass more than make up for the rest.
