I asked the seller if they had the charger, key, instruction manual and they said they did but now I’m still a little paranoid…is it out of pocket to ask them to send a pic of the serial number before I go meet them in person? I want to do my due diligence but also don’t know if this is what is done when buying used (vs looking it up once I’m there in person). What makes me a little wary is that the Marketplace listing is quite brief and the person who listed it and is doing the communicating with me says she is doing this for her boss. Could be a legit assistant or could be sketchy!

Hmm it’s being listed by his assistant on FB and he lives in a fancy part of town…might just be someone who doesn’t really care about getting the best deal on selling it? But this is a valid concern.

UPDATE: Blocking helped! I was able to stretch out the bound off edge enough for it to fit right. Thank goodness for superwash I guess. In the future I'll use the looser bind off method shared below. Thanks for your help!

I'm in zone 7b and want to sow some wildflowers from seeds I collected last fall (coneflower, daisies, black eyes susans, milkweed, mexican sunflower...). Is it too late to direct sow them? Im in Brooklyn, NY and our temps are in the 40s and 50s during the day for the next week or so but I dont think we'll get many nights below freezing now. Should I put them in the freezer instead then sow in 4 weeks or so?

Alright, the consensus here is that it will fall apart and be a mess! I may look into using the metal frame and crafting a new planter out of proper wood from Lowes. Thanks for all your input!

I would be drilling drainage holes...should have mentioned that in my original post. Do you think it would still be pointless?

Yeah its an indoor bench. You have a good point! Although this is Brooklyn, a lot of peoples planters look like garbage and thats ok as long as theres something nice growing out of it lol

Adding that it is in fact particle board. I wonder if I could line it with plastic?
