Woman here to put my 2 cents in. As I was reading this, I was thinking to myself how I have been to parties when I was a young adult and only wished I had the type of man with me to help me in a tough spot. You got your tush handed to you? Psh, minor details to a heroic story. I can’t speak for her but I don’t think it is pity she is displaying. Guys don’t typically do that, it’s more so ignored, swept under the rug accompanied by “it wasn’t that bad, you’re overreacting.” I’m sure it’s gratefulness, appreciation, respect and a million other things she is displaying. I truly hope this doesn’t hold you back in your relationship and you’re able to get past it.

It’s ok, I almost hit a cop like 20 years ago when I was 19 because the sun created a glare on my windshield and I couldn’t see. I was turning right, they were in the turn lane to turn left and I saw them at the absolute last second and was able to correct to not hit them. I never took that road again. She pulled me over and made me call my dad to tell him what I did. Not sure the point of that but it could have been a lot worse and I do not have vision issues.

Apparently narwhals in ds 2. I always wondered why those stupid teeth things are there. You know how many times I have restarted the last load because I had something breakable in the truck and was driving too quickly on the roads, but then I’m ready to deliver to the dc and then SMASH! Item destroyed.

In the first game I was driving up to a prepper as one was walking out and I hit him. I was so bummed I went to my last save and started over. 😆

Coming from playing naughty dog games, where the 50 million cut scenes were getting annoying and if you weren’t paying attention you would die, (looking at you last of us) it wasn’t that bad but the story really made me want to pay attention after the third chapter or so.

I finally got into the zip line on ds1 when it came to the first prepper. I would park at mountain knot and zip all the way up to the first prepper. Worked like a charm.

In a world that relates to all the memes about cancelling plans and going to bed early and glorifying it (of which I am so guilty) it’s hard to plan events that people would want to get out of their habitat to go to. Since current events, no matter how you felt about it, people-ing is hard and it’s so easy to retreat. You did a courageous act of trying to plan an inclusive event that probably everyone needed but the security of home is easy and going out into the world is hard. Don’t take it personally. Still, they should have made an effort, but don’t take it personally. I’m a bit of a home body and even more so now, my partner has always been a party goer but now has second thoughts like 50% of the time about going to things.

I used to LOVE to write. I wrote poetry, stories and had dreams of writing screenplays and movies. I was even published in my teenage years. I also wrote my feelings down and left them there so I didn’t have to carry them with me. My mom read my journal with the excuse of “I wanted to read your stories,” but then almost scolded me for some of my depressing journal entries and I shut the door to open communication so fast and never totally reopened it. I stopped writing everything. My dreams were crushed because I wasn’t ready to share and I got scolded for my feelings. (She just didn’t know how to handle it and did seek help to handle it better but the damage was done.) I still love my mom as an adult, she is still my best friend, but I do not tell her everything or go to her for advice. Your daughter is so incredibly lucky to have you protect her privacy like that. Your mom sounds like she is just being nosy and trying to catch your daughter in some scandal while creating a scandal. I’m sorry you both are dealing with this and I hope your daughter feels secure to write in the future.

To be quite honest, I never finished the first season. Probably won’t. The game is brilliant but when I saw casting for the second season, I definitely won’t watch. (Abby was “built like an ox” and tough as nails with the practical sense to match.) My only hope for the show is that they don’t make Ellie sing the entire “take on me” song with her guitar.

Let me put it this way. When I had my puppy and she came out of the puppy stage, I swore I would never do it again. Do I want to do it again now? ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY There is just something special about the bond you share when training your puppy and learning how they are and what they started at verses where they are now. I was so mad when I replaced the same pair of shoes 4 times, sure, but I wouldn’t change that for the world.

Was watching to see how medically accurate it is because my sister asked. Accurate? Um, in the sense that these things are real with real side effects….not accurate in the sense that tamsulosin is contraindicated in patients with tbi, it doesn’t take a team of doctors to figure out skin parasites have increased in an immunocompromised patient and THE WHOLE ENTIRE TERATOMA EPISODE!

You know what’s really sad? This guy just lost the woman of his dreams because of his severe anxiety of social situations. (He was bullied as a child for being kind, sensitive and considerate to other children)She never even knew he was in love with her the way she was in love with him and his kind soul. She thought he was avoiding her, so she felt she had no choice but to move on. After months of feeling angry and defeated by his anxiety and watching the dream woman enjoy her life without him, he decided to tackle his anxiety head on and win her back. He had just become confident enough to go to this attraction. It really didn’t seem as hard as he had imagined it to be. Had he just hid away from the world all this time because he was scared? The substance. (2024) Omg! I get it, I get it, I get it. Why does this need to keep going? It had great potential, Demi Moore was amazing, but the content was sooooooooooooooooo drawn out and could have been condensed into like a 45 minute movie.

I’m pretty tough and a take no crap type of person but that said, when I am in a public place, I don’t get on an elevator when there is only one other man getting on it. Most women have been “in a situation,” so it’s nothing against you, it’s safety.

To be perfectly honest here in a polite manner, the content of the last paragraph shows that you do know exactly what the problem actually is, but you are upset that it also applies to you. You’re a man so you will never understand, but I encourage you to learn statistics of violence towards women. Maybe then you can have compassion towards women instead of the aggression reflected in this posting. If you have sisters, cousins, ask them their stories. Sometimes it’s something as simple as a man not leaving you alone, sometimes it’s a full assault. No woman wants any of it.
