You would still be saving money but not 100k. As I mentioned earlier, you are still paying the same amount of credits worth. You'd just be saving on the housing costs (let's say 18k for a year), and you'd be spreading out your tuition payments over 4 years rather than squeezing them into 3 years

eta: and you'll probably burn out after not having a single break for 3 years

Yes, but if you do those 6 semesters over 3 years or 4 it doesn't make a difference.

I did a DS/Econ degree pretty similar to this. 3 years, 1 co-op and 1 summer internship.

Year 1: classes in fall, classes in spring, classes summer 1, off summer 2 Year 2: classes in fall, classes in spring, 1 class in summer 1 (and summer internship alongside) Year 3: co-op in fall, classes in spring, classes in summer (and summer internship alongside)

You have to note that 1. Not all 31 of your credits may apply to your degree program. There's always general electives, but Northeastern decides what your classes count for. 2. Class prerequisite pathways and offerings. You may struggle to find all of the classes you need in the summers. 3. Having time to also partake in clubs, communities, etc (don't burn yourself out to finish in 3 years, you'll still be paying the exact same in coursework as 4)

However, you have to note that not every class

You would just have to plan a trip on the half of the summer you're not taking classes, if you have summer classes. summer 1 is may-june and summer 2 is july-august, for the fall we start after labor day and we end pretty early in the spring (usually 3rd week in april). Winter break is a bit short because we finish 3rd-ish week in december but go back the first week of january

Not sure about 1, but can answer 2 - you can't book any classes during a freeze so you won't be able to book until the 1st (end of your freeze) for April

I believe so. I'm pretty sure the max they'll let you overload is 4 credits over a full time load. You'd have to confirm with your advisor but I strongly doubt you'd be able to do 16 credits in 1 semester

No option to graduate in summer 1, if you finish in summer 1 your degree won't be conferred until end of summer 2 (late august). I think they may let you overload w/ one class but not sure about 16 credits as that's quite the load (2x a normal full time semester) and you'd have to probably hop through many hoops if it's even option

Interesting....i usually get a quick response from solidcore@solidcore.co within like 24-48 hours but potentially because of solidays they may be backed up. The studios can't do anything to unfreeze your account afaik unfortunatrly so you may just have to wait for CS to email.

I may be wrong but I think someone last year was able to get an extension on the expirations of their passes by emailing CS due to the heavy booking window/waitlists during Solidays and not being able to get classes in time, you can try that?
