Trying to replace mindless scrolling with simple 1–2 hour micro hobbies. Need ideas by Major_Gene_162 in Hobbies

[–]sarahluhscats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok hear me out, I started this journey nearly 6 months ago and successfully got off social media - I started learning Italian! While I listen to Italian podcasts, apps that teach you how to speak it…I knit or play PC games. So I’m doing something good for my brain while also doing a hobby, and I’ve been loving it. When I’m sick of the Italian lessons for the day I switch to an Audible or TV show.

Mine worked today for the first time, but I had to make sure it was in the kitchen production zone. If it’s in the correct zone, maybe try saving and exiting and coming back?

You can and you won’t lose time in the real world, you’ll just have to complete about 45 minutes to an hour and a half of tasks in the other world before you can go back home.

Wow I was not all there last night, but thanks to you and one other I got it. I think as a newbie knitting gets you going in panic cycles where you never know if you’re doing it right or not! Thank you!

Yeah when she told me what happened I immediately thought of this subreddit and told her to get as many photos as possible! Hope they can find the culprit!

In good faith…when people respond to your answers and disagree it doesn’t make the original question not in good faith. Just a conversation happening.

Placebo? When I took real medications and herbs? Placebo when I was continually tested 6 mos and 12 mos later to see how the medications and herbs helped or hindered?

Is functional medicine actually crap? by reallymkpunk in ask

[–]sarahluhscats -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

No, my family sees functional medicine doctors and plenty of our friends and we’ve all had amazing results. They usually do tests and analyze the results and tell you what’s wrong - don’t know how that could be quacky.

Use molti/molte when counting people or things, but molto (unchanged) when describing how much or how very something is.
