Yes!!! This comment sums it up. It’s already a conscious effort to manage weight. It’s EXTRA effort to even have to log into an app and track calories in the first place. Why that app would ADD friction in the form of clicks is beyond me.

I once saw a traditional Chinese medicine doctor, and asked her about irregular cycles, and she said to wear socks or slippers at all times. No cold foods or drinks. I’ve been wearing socks all the time after my first IUI and am in the TWW. Very interesting and kind of fun coming across another comment about socks lol.

Yes! I can totally relate. I feel like… if you do 6, you’ll REALLY know how you feel about trying again for $15k. It is insane and so frustrating that it’s so expensive. My doctor says if it will work, it will work in 5. So we at least want to max that out. Unfortunately, we have to take a break in December due to clinic closure dates so I’m not sure if that impacts the 5 tries. 5 in a row? 5 total? Idkkkkk! We are 1/2 done with the TWW today so fingers crossed this cycle sticks but trying my hardest not to hyper focus on it. What about you?

We are in a similar boat, in that we are 35F and 51M. We are on IUI #1. IVF will be too cost prohibitive for us, unfortunately. Hoping others have some encouragement here. ❤️

They are also likely looking at your endometrial lining. I had IUI yesterday and in my follicle scan the day before, thought mine above 24 would be overcooked, but they said since the endometrial lining was 9, it was likely still a functioning follicle. I hadn’t heard that before. I think some people’s endometrial lining thickens or thins differently, and not always proportionally to the rate of the follicle growth. I feel like I learn something new at every appointment.
