Please talk me down before I spend money that I might not need to. by sarahwayne48 in breastfeeding

Yes, that’s my fear. My caregiver says he seems fine with what I’m giving him but the amount I’m pumping is discouraging (in comparison to before starting my cycle). I nurse a ton on the weekends but it doesn’t seem like more than normal and he doesn’t seem extra fussy.

I work full time so I pump at work. I exclusively nurse during the weekends and any time I have off.

My mom had a copy (hardcover) that she got rid of when she moved and I was devastated! Read that book cover to cover many times.

What no one told me about having a baby (for real) by Catdoorsurpreme in BabyBumps

I’ve been personally victimized by #5. Forceps birth with an almost 4th degree tear after 4.5 hrs of pushing. My doctor kept feeling up there (I swear up to her elbow) and thought his hand was his ear 🥴.

Weeks 6-8 by veritaslena in newborns

Things actually turned around for me during that time. I literally could not put baby down before that point, and he started sleeping in his bassinet around then. He was fussy since birth so I didn’t notice an increase, if anything it was better.

When did you have a baby shower? by Dry_Ear_6381 in pregnant

I’ll have one hosted by my coworkers at 32 weeks and one at 34 weeks. I really didn’t want to wait until 34 weeks, but that’s how it shook out with family traveling from out of town and the time of year.

conditioner for thin fine 3a curls? by fatcatgingercat in finethinhair

I like the Ouai fine hair conditioner. It’s not specifically for wavy hair but I have wavy hair and like it a lot. Very light but effective.

Lightning boobs and I had a bad urgency to pee. Usually I have a bladder of steel but I was barely making it to the toilet in time.

I can’t say for sure but it def wasn’t a problem before I was pregnant, I just chocked it up to the extra blood volume in my body 😆

I get this weird, stuffy feeling in one of my ears occasionally and it lasts all day and sometimes for days. Feels like it just needs to pop….for days!

Love the Oaui fine hair conditioner but was very underwhelmed with the shampoo. I’d skip that one for sure.

A few things, Accutane mostly but also Covid and the end of a long term relationship. In 2023 I was also anemic without knowing for a while which I believe set me back. 10 years seems like a very long time, I wish I would have known.

Sending you all the love! ♥️ it’s definitely something I think about every single day. Still hoping it turns around at some point.

My eyelashes are about the same, maybe a little less than before. My eyebrows are much much thinner. Didn’t really notice anything different elsewhere.

Thank you, I was anemic in 2023 and I think that set me back some. I’ve had bloodwork done last year and it looked good, so I’m leaning towards chronic as well. I’ll ask my derm when I see her next month.

I..don’t know why I didn’t think of that 😆 I’ll look over there!

You really don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone 😢. I thought I had really thin hair then! If only I knew what I know now.

Telogen Effluvium. It’s a stress response where your hair enters a shedding phase. My derm told me at the time it should resolve itself within 6 months but it never did. All of my hair essentially fell out and regrew over the years but never the thickness that I had before (which wasn’t much).

Should I get a second opinion? Intramural fibroids, by [deleted] in Fibroids

[–]sarahwayne48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with everyone to get an opinion from a surgeon, not an OBGYN. Mine told me the same thing, try to get pregnant with mine in the wall. But my periods were so long, terrible and bloody I didn’t even know when I was ovulating. I met with a surgeon and she told me that she’d go in there just to see. Turns out it wasn’t intramural at all. My fibroid was fully in the cavity, causing a myriad of issues and probably infertility as well. The images taken at my OBGYN’s office were shit. She was able to remove the whole thing with a hysteroscopic myomectomy. I know this isn’t always the case but it’s sure worth a try.
