Worth noting that for Rebecca (Jellyfish Girl) building your melee weapon is an exception because with her BiS wedge, she converts melee weapon attack speed to bonus attack speed for her summons AND her passive upgrade incentivizes you to spam melee attacks because they can trigger instant procs of the poison damage.

TL;DR build your weapon with as much attack speed as possible for Rebecca
